Tips For Collection
Labrix tubes are small and easy to fill. If you do have trouble generating saliva, maybe first thing in the morning, you can sniff a lemon or orange to help produce saliva.
Shipping TimingThe Kits are coming back to the Labrix lab in Oregon
UPS• If you drop the kit in a UPS drop box on a Friday AFTER the
daily pick up time – the kit will stay there until Monday morning.
• The kit will take 1-6 business days to get here depending on your location. UPS Guarantees 6 business days including the day they pick up the kit.
US Mail• We have found the US Mail takes longer than UPS and has
no guarantees on delivery times. • Most kits reach the lab within 14 days.
Final Steps
• Put samples and paperwork in the box and seal the box
• Ideally put the box in the freezer overnight
• Return the kit to the lab the very next day after collection using either UPS collection box or regular mail (depending on the label on the box)
• The sample is stable for 14 days however, we encourage you to send the box the day following collection to allow for vagaries of the mail system.
