From the outside, Big Burger, a popular joint located off of Ava-lon Blvd. and in the corner of a strip mall right across from CSU Dominguez Hills, looks some-what unassuming, quite the op-posite of the flashy, vibrant Fat- burger and Carl’s Jr. restaurants that are located just down the street from where a fairly largeBig Burger sign sits. However, when you go inside, you are greeted by friendly employees and presented with an easy-to- follow menu that consists largelyof turkey burgers, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, veggie burgers,

and even low-carb burgers. In other words, Big Burger is no ordinary burger joint. From deli-cious appetizers to thick, juicy burgers that tempt taste buds, this place deserves recognition.

Me: “Is this an independently-owned eatery?” Manager: “Yes”
