NOTICE OF 2021 BIDValley County Weed District is advertising for Ground Spraying of Noxious Weeds.The Valley County Weed District (VCWD) is accepting formal bids for spraying of noxious

weeds on Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Grazing District Landowner’s private lands, and other projects within the County. A valid Montana Commercial Applicators License issued by the MT Department of Agriculture is required. Sites and location access will be determined by VCWD.

Interested bidders shall bid an hourly rate for spraying noxious weeds. Bids must be submit-ted to Valley County Commissioner’s office by the 23rd of February 2021 at 5:00 PM. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Valley County Commissioners, 501 Court Square Box 1, Glasgow, MT 59230. The envelope shall be plainly marked on the outside as a “BID FOR 2021 NOXIOUS WEED SPRAYING.”

The hourly bid rate shall include all cost of equipment, labor, fuel, transportation, chemical etc. Bidders are expected to honor the hourly rate for the entire 2021 spray season. Bidders must also enclose with the bid, proof of commercial general liability insurance for property damage, bodily injury or death to any one person and proof of independent contractor’s license.

Please enclose two references of previous jobs performed. All bids will be evaluated to determine the best combination of price and service to fit the

County’s needs and requirements. Price may not be the sole determining factor. The County may consider other factors such as efficiency, effectiveness, equipment, dependability, workmanship, quality, schedule, other costs, or factors relevant to meet expectations. The VCWD reserves the right: to utilize the services of more than one bidder, to hold all bids for a period of 90 days, to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities or to accept such as may be determined to be for the best interest of the VCWD.
