The Arkville Pinochle c’ub met Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Frank Barton. Prizes were won by Mrs. Ed Funari and Mrs. Hilda Peet.
The Margaretville Presbyterian church will hold its annual congregational meeting this Sunday, Jan. 17, at the church. The meeting will begin at 12:30 p. m. with a pot luck dinner, at which meat will be provided. Holy communion will be celebrated a t the morning worship service at 9:30. Members and friends of the parish are invited.
There will be open house for Mrs. Etta Tait in honor of her 80th birthday on Sunday, Jan. 17, from 2 to 4 p. m. at the Margaretville Advent Christian church.
Pepacton Fish BigTwo of the three largest
brown trout taken in the state during 1970 came from the w'aters of the Pepacton reservoir. Winner in the state-wide fishing contest was the 15- pound 7-ounce trout caught July 19 by Carl Gallo of Spring Valley. Third place went to Zulma Bogdanowicz of Brooklyn for his 12-pound 4-ounce fish caught April 18. Corydon Rich of Delhi won third place in the brook trout division for a 5-pound 8-ounce fish taken July 30 from the West Branch of the Delaware.
Name’s the SameRoxbury, Jan. 7.—Two men
of the same name are found living within 10 miles of each other in adjoining villages. Both are named Ronald Herrick, but they are entirely unrelated. Ronald Herrick of Margaretville is the son of Everett Herrick, Margaretville funeral director. The Ronald Herrick of Roxbury came here from Binghamton to work as clerk in the Country Store. He was previously a truck driver who delivered food at local stores.
Patients Listed A t Delhi Hospital
Mrs. Joseph Kelly of Fleiseh- manns, Mrs. Marvin Hosier of New Kingston, LeRoy Fleury of Andes and James Boggs and T. George Johnston of Bovina Center are listed as being among those admitted by the O’Connor hospital at Delhi during the week ending Saturday.
Discharges during the same period included Mrs. Floyd Goodchild, Mrs. Kelly and James Ingram of Andes.

Holiday Weekend NupitalsMiss Jilleen Lorraine Russell,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Russell of New Kingston, and Lt. Steven Sigurd Hoffman of Laredo, Texas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph ■ Hoffman of Shandaken, were married Dec. 27 a t the New Kingston United Presbyterian church by Rev. William Harter.
The bride wore a streetr length, A-line white gown, accented with silver threading and with silver ribbing on the high collar and cuffs. She carried a bouquet of red roses and stephanotis, with a white rose corsage in the center.
Her sister, Mrs. Kathleen Barnes, of Groton was matron of honor and wore a street- length, empire gown of red velveteen, with red and silver ribbing on the collar and cuffs. She carried a bouquet of white roses. Bridesmaids were Miss Cathleen Lawrence of Margaretville and the bride’s sister- lin-law, Mrs. Edde Jean Pen- dell, of Morrisville.
Richard Peroraro was best man for his cousin. Ushers were David Jeffrey Pendell, brother of the bride, and Gene Barnes, her brother-in-law.

A reception for 120 guests was held at the church afterward.
The couple is living at Laredo Air Force base in Texas, where Lt. Hoffman is stationed. The bride attended Margaretville central school and Edwards school of beauty culture. Lt. Hoffman is a graduate of On- iteora central school and Syracuse university.
Taylor Brothers
Injured SaturdayRoxbury, Jan. 14.—'Ronne V.
Taylor of Ellenville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Taylor of Roxbury, was seriously injured an an auto accident Saturday. He and his brother, Harold, were in a car near Ellenville, when they were hit and forced off the road by a driver on the wrong side.
Harold was less seriously hurt. Ronne was transferred from Ellenville to Kingston hospital, where he is suffering from severe back injuries.
He and his wife, the former June Whitney of Roxbury, are the parents of four small children.
