Step 1 - Applying to SCC
Complete and submit a SCC Admissions ApplicationNo Fee
Submit official high school transcript or GED, along with official college transcript (if applicable)
Register to take the ACCUPLACER placement test or provide proof (contact admissions for exemptions)
Submit proof of immunization for measles, mumps and rubella (if born after 1956)

ALL Nursing Applicants: A minimum of 50% in Math & Reading must be met
ADN: a total score of 60% or higher will be accepted for consideration; however, a score of 70% or higher is preferred.
PN: a total score of 50% or higher will be accepted for consideration; however, a score of 58% or higher is preferred.
How long are the scores valid? - 2 years Is there a study guide? - Yes, SCC’s Bookstore or online – same -
$109 How many times may I take the ATI exam in one year? – Three
Times Is there a waiting period between test dates? – Yes, 45 days Should I retake the exam to get a higher score? – Yes, if you think
