ਗੁ�ਰਮਤੀ� ਸਬਦਿ� ਸ�ਰ ਹੈ� ਕਾ�ਮ� ਕ੍ਰੋ�ਧੁ� ਦਿ�ਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੀਹੈ�� ਮ�ਦਿਰਆ ॥ Those who follow the Guru's Teachings are the true spiritual warriors; they have

conquered lust and anger.

ਸਲੋ�ਕਾ ਕਾਬ�ਰ ॥ Salok, Kabeer:

ਗੁਗੁਨ �ਮ�ਮ� ਬ�ਦਿ�ਓ ਪਦਿਰਓ ਨ�ਸ�ਨ� ਘਾ�ਉ ॥ The battle-drum beats in the sky of the mind; aim is taken, and the wound is inflicted.

ਖੇ ਤੀ� �� ਮ�!ਦਿ"ਓ ਸ�ਰਮ� ਅਬ ��ਝਨ ਕਾ� ��ਉ ॥੧॥ The spiritual warriors enter the field of battle; now is the time to fight! ||1||

ਸ�ਰ� ਸ� ਪਦਿਹੈਚਾ�ਨ�ਐ �� ਲੋਰ� ��ਨ ਕਾ ਹੈ ਤੀ ॥ He alone is known as a spiritual hero, who fights in defence of religion.

ਪ�ਰ�� ਪ�ਰ�� ਕਾਦਿ( ਮਰ� ਕਾਬਹੈ� ਨ ਛਾ�"� ਖੇ ਤੀ� ॥੨॥੨॥ He may be cut apart, piece by piece, but he never leaves the field of battle. ||2||2||
