Third Sunday of Advent

From the Pastor~

The Legacy of Hope Campaign

I am always so grateful to the parishioners of our parish who are so generous and sacrificial in helping us to do our fair share in helping others and caring for all of our property and buildings.

Many people are still considering their pledge amount and are praying in order to determine their gift. Thank you in advance for all you are doing to assist our parish. God always loves a cheerful giver. Let’s all do something beautiful for God! ~ Fr. Jim

It’s that time of year again, the annual “decking of the church.”

We are in need of a dozen volunteers to help transform our worship space from Advent to Christmas. If you can spare some time on Sunday, December 22nd at 1:00 PM, please sign-up in the gathering space. A light lunch will be provided. With luck we should be finished by 3:00 PM. Please consider sharing your time and talent so that our spiritual home can once again reflect the joy of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Advent Prayer for Families

Heavenly Father, your son, Jesus is your greatest gift to us,

a great sign of your love. Guide us as we strive to walk in that love together as a family

this Advent. As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, bring us closer to each

other and to your son. Give us the grace and strength we need every day.

Help us to always trust in you. Come, Lord Jesus, lead all people closer to you.

Come and dispel the darkness of our world with the light of your love.

Amen

When school is cancelled or there is a delayed start due to inclement weather, morning Mass will be cancelled.

If there is an early dismissal or school cancellation due to inclement weather, all evening meetings will be cancelled.

Please do not leave exterior doors of the church open during the winter months.

Pray the Rosary…

Praying of the Rosary will take place on Thursday evenings at 6:15 PM in the Church. In praying the Rosary, we include the petitions and intentions of our parishioners, the ministries of our parish,

the prayers of our community and world. By praying the Rosary, we reach out and offer spiritual support to our brothers and sisters who are in need.

The Rosary Ministry is a great way for parishioners of all ages to have an active part in our Church community.

Please join US!
