#Metoo. Sexting pressure. The
Hook-up culture. Teenage depres-

toxic? And how did one man foresee this
all so clearly 50 years ago? UNPRO-
TECTED is an acclaimed new documen-

the devastating effects of the sexual revo-
lution, and the counter-cultural move-
ment that is rising from its ashes.

What is Pro Life? Are we sure
we are 100% Pro Life? – Part
VIII The Church teaches that all life is sa-
cred and must be cherished and pro-
tected from conception to natural
death. By keeping this guiding princi-
ple in mind in reviewing all the follow-
ing moral issues of today, we can
quickly see what it means to be 100%
Pro Life, no exceptions.
Suicide
The medical profession and society in
general have come to understand that
a person is not necessarily in control
of their mind when in a depressed
state. Suicide most often comes from
depression, a chemical imbalance in
the brain, sometimes fueled by old
psychological wounds and trauma.
Professional help is necessary and spir-
itual direction can be very helpful also.
Some say, it’s my life, why can’t I take
it? Why do I have to go on suffering?
Why should anyone tell me what I can
do with my own life?
We did not create our life and we can-
not end it. Suicide is against God’s
6th commandment, forbidding the
taking of any life including our own.
With the proper help, many times sui-
cide minded individuals have been
helped to recover and go on to lead
happy, productive lives, bringing joy
to themselves and others. No one
knows the future for anyone, including
themselves. We also must remember
to not judge the state of someone’s
mind in a depressed state. We do not
know God’s judgment or who goes to
heaven. People in a depressed state or
the mentally ill need our fervent pray-
ers and support.
If you believe that Suicide is wrong,
then you are Pro Life on this issue. Joan Murray

Nosotros no creamos nuestra vida y
tampoco podemos terminarla.
tras fervientes oraciones y apoyo moral.
