Wanting to know about our Catholic faith? Don’t know

where to look? St. Mary’s parish will be starting an adult

class on growing our faith. Starting September 11th at 7:00 PM. We will meet weekly on

Wednesdays for one hour. This is a ministry of the parish designed to help adults grow in

knowledge of their faith. All the topics and themes we discuss are meant to help the aver-

age Catholic come to know their faith and the history of the Church better. These are not

classes meant for “experts” in the faith; rather, they are meant to answer question you

have about your faith as they apply to our lives. All are welcome to attend as many or few

of the session as you would like. Please come and join us!

Praise God! Holy Trinity's first day of school for 2019-2020 was amazing. Everyone who came to worship surely felt God's presence as our Catholic school system showed what a community of believers in God and education can do for our children. Father Bruce, Father Dennis, and Father Joseph were joined by Bishop Thomas in celebrating and blessing our new school, our

students, teachers, staff, and each classroom. The spirit and joy that filled the church and the school truly came from God's graces in each person as they celebrated the gifts of faith and excellence in education.

A teacher invited her third grade class to her wedding. The bride started down the aisle on the arm of her father. One alarmed student whispered, “She’s

not going to marry that old man, is she?”

Please welcome Leo Mark Scott son of Josh & Elizabeth (Meek) Scott into the Catholic faith through the sacrament of Baptism on August 24th at St. Mary’s. Also Lucy Margaret

Moore daughter of Austin & Jessica (Wolken) Moore and Carson Lucas Wells son of Lucas and Kate (Moore) Wells baptized at St. Boniface on Sunday, August 25th. We pray that all three children will continue to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ all the days of their lives.

The West Point Legion #668 would like to thank those who dropped off school supplies for school children in need. Items were dropped off at the local schools as needed. Again your generosity is much appreciated.
