Chicken Dinner Many thanks to all who attended the Knights of Colum-bus Chicken Dinner last Saturday. $400 was raised to help pay for the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Mount Olivet Cemetery, which should be in place by the middle of July. Thank you, Marci Carlson, for do-nating back the $40 winnings from the 50/50 raffle. Tom Campbell entertained us with beautiful guitar music and singing, so much fun! And many thanks to all who helped prepare, cook and clean-up!

365 Youth Group Any donations to the 365 Youth Group for their Mission trip, made with a personal check, should be made out to Saint John Paul II Parish with “365 Youth Group” written in the memo line of the check. Thank you!

Funeral & Luncheon There will be a Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m. for Mary Neff Evans on Saturday, July 7th. A luncheon will follow, after the burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery, in the Visitation Goetzman Gym. The family extends an invitation to any-one who wishes to attend.

Annual Diocesan Appeal The 2018 Annual Diocesan Appeal is doing well. To date, we have received 261 pledges totaling $45,714 towards our goal of $49,060. We still have a balance of $3,346. If you have not yet made a gift to the ADA, we invite you to please do so today. There are envelopes in the rear center pews or at the front doors. Every dollar raised to make our goal supports im-portant diocesan ministries, and every dollar raised over our goal will be kept in the parish to help us build up our 365 Youth Group. To those who have already contributed, we are most grateful for your support.
