A message from Fr. Richard, Last month, Bishop Libasci bestowed a great honor on me when he asked me to assume the position of Dean of the Amoskeag Deanery. On Wednesday of last week that news became public knowledge. In addition to my role as pastor of St. Anthony, as Dean I will serve as a liaison between the Bishop and priests and parishes of our Deanery. I succeed Msgr. John P. Quinn, the pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton in Bedford, who has served in the capacity of Dean for many years. On behalf of the parishes of the Amoskeag Deanery and the Diocese of Manchester as a whole, I want to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Msgr. Quinn for the work and dedication he has provided for these many years. To Bishop Libasci, I hope to serve you as faithfully as did my predecessor.
