New Mass Intention Envelopes In order to facilitate the scheduling of Mass Intentions, newly designed Mass Intention Envelopes are now available in the back of the Church. If you would like to request a Mass Intention please fill out the envelope and place it in any collection or mail it to the Rectory. The parish secretary, Janine O'Connor, will schedule the Masses each week and provide Mass Cards when requested. These cards can either be mailed or picked up the following week in the Sacristy. The customary Mass stipend is $10 and the suggested offer-ing for Mass cards is $1.

Repairs & Maintenance You may notice in the upcoming weeks that the rectory will be undergoing some repairs and maintenance. This work will include the repair of several cracks in the building's exterior and the updating of the paint and siding. We are pleased to report that the funds for this project will not come from the ongoing "Our Spiritual Home" capital campaign. Instead, this much-needed maintenance is made possible through the generous support of our benefactors.

All Souls Triduum There will be a Triduum of Masses for the Faithful Departed from Tuesday, Nov. 2nd to Thursday, .Nov. 4th at 7 pm. Please place the names of those you would like to have re-membered during this Triduum in the marked donation en-velopes.

Litany of the Faithful Departed

Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, have mercy on us. Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, hear us. Christ, graciously hear us. God, the Father of Heaven, Have mercy on the suffering souls* God, the Son, Redeemer of the world, God the Holy Ghost, Holy Trinity, one God, Holy Mary, Pray for the suffering souls** Holy Mother of God, Holy Virgin of virgins, St. Michael, All ye holy angels and archangels, All ye choirs of celestial spirits, St. John the Baptist, St. Joseph, All ye holy patriarchs and prophets, St. Peter, St. Paul, St. John, All ye holy apostles and evangelists, St. Stephen, St. Laurence, All ye holy martyrs, St. Gregory, St. Ambrose, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, All ye holy pontiffs and confessors, All ye holy doctors, All ye holy priests and levites, All ye holy monks and hermits, St. Mary Magdalene, St. Catherine, SS. Barbara, All ye holy virgins and widows, All ye saints of God, Be merciful unto them, pardon them, O Lord.

Be merciful unto them, hear us O Lord. From all evil, O Lord, deliver them.+ From thy wrath, From the rigor of thy justice, From the gnawing worm of con-science, From fearful darkness, From their mourning and tears, By thy incarnation, By thy nativity, By thine own sweet name, By thy baptism and holy fasting, By thy most perfect submission, By thy infinite love, By thy anguish and torment, By thy bloody sweat, By thy bonds and chains, By thy crown of thorns, By thy ignominious death, By thy sacred wounds, By thy cross and bitter passion, By thy glorious resurrection, By thine admirable ascension, By thy coming of the Paraclete, In the day of judgment, Sinners as we are, We beseech Thee, hear us.++ Thou who didst absolve the adulteress, and pardon the good thief, Thou who savest by thy grace, Thou who hast the keys of death and of hell, That it may please thee to deliver our parents, friends, and benefactors from tormenting flames, That it may please thee to deliver all the faithful departed, That it may please thee to have mercy on all those who have none in this world to remember or pray for them,

That it may please thee to have mercy on all, and to deliver them from their pains, That it may please thee to fulfill their desires, That it may please thee to admit them amongst thine elect, King of dreadful majesty, Son of God, Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world, Give them rest. Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world, Give them eternal rest. Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world, Give them eternal rest. Jesus Christ, hear us. Jesus Christ, graciously hear us. Our Father… P. From the gate of hell, R. O Lord, preserve their souls. P. Let us pray O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, give to the souls of thy servants departed the remission of all their sins, to the end that they may obtain, by the humble supplication of thy Church, that pardon which they have always desired of thy mercy. Thou who, being God, livest and reig-nest forever and ever. Amen. P. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord. R. And let perpetual light shine upon them. P. May they rest in peace. R. Amen.
