FUNERALS:
The parish is to be contacted before the family makes any arrangements with
the funeral director. Family members are encouraged to meet with our
Funeral coordinators to prepare for the Funeral Liturgy.
INFANT BAPTISMS:
Celebrated on the 2nd Sunday of each month after the 11 a.m. mass,
excluding the season of Lent. First time parents and godparents are expected
to patriciate in a baptism preparation seminar and should call the parish office
well in advance of the anticipated delivery date. Please visit our website for
more information.
RCIA:
Those seeking to be welcomed into the Catholic Church must participate in
preparation classes which begin in the Fall and culminate in the spring at
Easter Vigil. Call the parish office for more information.
HOLY ORDERS:
If you feel called to discern a vocation to the priesthood, diaconate or other
religious life, call the parish office to speak to one of our priests or deacons.
Parish school of religion/ CCD:
Children in grades 1-12 who attend public or non-parochial schools are
encouraged to enroll in PSR/ CCD class for faith formation. Enrolled
students prepare for receiving the Sacrament of the Eucharist and
Confirmation. Classes begin in the fall. Contact the Parish Office for more
information.
CONFIRMATION:
Confirmation Preparation classes begin in the fall of their junior year of
high school. Traditionally at SAM, the Sacrament of Confirmation is held
early spring of junior year. Contact the parish office at least by the
beginning of the candidate’s sophomore year of school to register for
Parish School of Religion/ CCD classes if the student does not attend
Catholic School. (Confirmation preparation classes and PSR classes are
separate faith formation ministries.) Registration for Confirmation
Preparation classes begin in the summer.
MATRIMONY:
The policy of the Archdiocese requires a minimum 6 –8 months
preparation period during which time the couple meets with the priest or
deacon and participates in the Archdiocesan marriage preparation program.
Engaged couples should contact the parish office no less than 6 months
prior to the anticipated date of marriage. Please visit our website for more
information.
ANNOINTING OF THE SICK:
If you know of a parishioner in need of anointing of the sick, please call the
parish office to setup a visit with one of our priests. We have
Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who will deliver Communion to
the homebound. Call the parish office to arrange for these visits.

not want can also be donated.� Donations can be
dropped off at the back of the church in a clear bin
