THE PERFECT TIME-OUT FROM GREY AND COLD WINTER DAYS.

4
Enjoy the best days of the year with a clear conscience and positive feeling. You can rely on us!
Travelling with a small number of guests creates space for great things. Meeting people at eye-level in the countries you visit, experiencing cultures, appreciating regional values and creating added value for the region. This is pointing the way ahead because it is in keeping with the times.
For more than 40 years, we have been pursuing the principle of sustainable tourism.
Sailing is what you and we focus on. So it goes without saying that we use every opportunity to hoist the sails and glide along just with the wind.
When we need to start the engines, we use low-sulphur Marine diesel on all three windjammers. This is standard for us – even the SEA CLOUD has been equipped with this propulsion technology right from the start.
Small and fine – this also means calling at smaller ports off the busy cruise routes. With a maximum of 64 to 136 guests on board, we are always welcome there because we visit the people in the regions we travel to, rather than overtaxing them.
Buy regionally; work with local, medium-sized agencies; pay fair prices: We see ourselves as partners of our regional service providers, with whom we have built up a trusting cooperation over many years. Because we also want our sea voyages to be a benefit for the people in the regions we visit.
Avoid plastics; reduce water consumption; protect the environment: With this in mind we operate our ships and continuously develop environmentally sound alternatives.
Your wellbeing is our fi rst priority.
Fresh air is healthy and precious. On board the SEA CLOUDs, you can enjoy fresh air more intensely than almost anywhere else. Life on a sailing ship takes place mainly outside: during the day while watching the sailing manoeuvers, having lunch on the Lido deck and in the evening with a sundowner at the Lido bar.
Fresh air also means clean air. Each cabin is supplied with fresh air directly from the outside, separately from the other facilities; the ventilation system is designed in such a way that the exhaust air cannot reach another cabin and cannot reach other areas of the ship.
Short distances create security. There are always only a few passenger cabins in the same area of the ship.
We offer space – also relating to your choice of seats. We can serve each meal at the same time in the restaurant and lounge/on the Lido deck. Hence the currently recommended distances between tables can also be observed during meals.
Always with your health in mind. It is also part of our intensive guest care that we pay attention to every sign of a possible illness from the first time you step on board the ships, every time you go ashore, through out until your departure, and immediately call in our ship’s doctor if there is the slightest cause of concern.
Whatever happens in the world: On board, as well as ashore, a committed and flexible team is at your side. You can always rely on us.
5
The perfect break from winter
Visiting the Caribbean on one of the Sea Clouds is truly a special experience: With the trade winds prevailing,
a dream sailing area awaits – on a windjammer that is still traditionally sailed by hand. Off the beaten tourist track,
the sailing yachts anchor in little bays and harbours. An excursion across the island in a small group of like-minded
people; a stroll all by yourself ashore; or rather a dip in the sea and a lazy day on a beach? You, and only you, decide
what your perfect break away should be.
6
Close to the elements: feel the wind and the sea
When the Sea Clouds lift their anchors again, pure deceleration awaits you – with an unparalleled supporting
program: Deftly, the sailors climb into the shrouds, release the heavy cloth, then vigorously tighten the ropes down
on deck. There are no buttons that can simply be pressed. On these ships, sailing is not just for show – it is a true
craft. When the orders ring out over the deck and the crew hoist the sails, every single maneuver marks a centu-
ries-old ritual being brought to life.
7
8
Relaxed attitude to life
You won’t find it difficult to choose
your favorite spot on board. In the
stylishly casual ambiance, you can
while away the days; and in no time
at all, the daily grind will be many
nautical miles away. You will instantly
feel at home among friends on board
“your private yacht” and, pampered
by the attentive crew, you can look
forward to a very intensive experience
of freedom under sail.
Arrive, unwind,savor
The scent of salt in your nose, the
sound of the waves in your ears, and
on your skin the touch of the wind that
gets caught in 3,000 m2 / 32,000 sq ft
of sailcloth: On board a Sea Cloud,
you get right up close to the elements.
Here, the sea is always almost within
your reach – not a dozen decks away!
After all, a voyage aboard a majestic tall
ship is much more than just a cruise.
8
Highlights for the palate
Our first-class chefs simply enjoy
surprising their guests again and again
with sophisticated menus and fine
wines. On the Lesser Antilles and in
Central America, European dining
culture meets Caribbean ease. With
barbecues on deck, fresh fish speciali-
ties and al-fresco buffets, you will soon
discover this region’s culinary delights.

The green side of the Antilles
Volcanic lakes, waterfalls and
gardens full of tropical plants: On
the southern islands of the Antilles
and the Grenadines, the Caribbean
impresses with varied scenic features
and its lush, green nature. During
our shore excursions inland, you can
discover the diversity of the various
islands. The abundance of exotic
blossoms and the scent of spices
is bound to enchant you.
12
Every island a new treasure chest
While on St Lucia, the green volcanic
spires of the two Pitons almost
regally greet approaching ships from
afar, the natural beauty of Dominica
holds back a little, yet fascinates
with its lush national parks – one of
them even a UNESCO World Natural
Heritage Site. And Grenada carries
its name “Spice Island” for a good
reason: Its air is heavy with the
aromas of cloves, ginger and
nutmeg.
13
14
Beautiful beaches and idyllic coves
The Caribbean reflects a truly
special attitude to life. When the
sun twinkles through the palm trees
and you dig your toes deep into the
warm sand, it is obvious: Idleness
can also be a lot of fun. The British
Virgin Islands, the Tobago Cays and
Anguilla entice with tropical dream
beaches.
14
15
Immerse yourself in the Caribbean
The crystal-clear waters around
the Lesser Antilles beckon to go
swimming or snorkeling; and a
barbecue on the beach or aboard the
yacht promises relaxed enjoyment.
For water enthusiasts, snorkeling
equipment, standup paddle boards
and towable tubes are provided
for fun activities from the beach or
the ship.
15
16
Famous haunts for sailors and yachts
We drop anchor in places that draw
the smaller yachts from all over the
world. In the rustic beach bars on the
British Virgin Islands, you will soon get
talking – their carefree way of life is
highly infectious. With their charming
French flair, the Îles des Saintes are
no different. A little more mysterious is
Virgin Gorda where the famous stone
labyrinth “The Baths” is not to be
missed.
16
17
Regatta on the jet-set island of St Barths
The fact that St Barths can only be reached
by small aircraft often attracts international
celebrities who come to enjoy relaxing
days on the tranquil beaches or head to
the capital of Gustavia. A highlight for
sports fans is the Bucket Regatta, a
remarkable sailing event held in March
every year that sees 30 stylish superyachts
compete against one another. And on your
Sea Cloud, you have a prime seat for
this spectacle!

The Queen of the Caribbean’s vibrant rhythms simply sweep everyone away. This island is a myth and a place of
longing, a bather’s paradise, and for many still the cliché of road cruisers and cigars. Cuban life has a rhythm
quite of its own, and Havana’s morbid charm goes hand in hand with the originality of this region. Experiencing
the nature, culture and infectious vitality, it is virtually impossible not to succumb to Cuba’s fascination.
28
Colonial world heritage meets pulsating rhythms
Sugar cane plantations, cattle breeding and the cultivation of tobacco once made Trinidad a wealthy city.
Strolling across cobblestones through the beautiful old quarter, from which cars have been banned, is like
travelling back in time to the 18th century, as you walk past colorful churches and colonial buildings. In
Santiago de Cuba, the cradle of son, the island’s musical heartbeat with its African-Caribbean roots is parti-
cularly strong – which makes the city the best place for dancing!
29
Jamaica – a natural beauty
Known for its reggae, Rastafarians
and rum, Jamaica has many magical
and serene natural settings to offer
alongside its rousing rhythms. The
area of Port Antonio in the Northeast
is the spot on the island with the
most beautiful scenery. With its
countless caves, rivers and waterfalls,
it also provided an exotic backdrop
for a number of films.

Beach fun and relaxation
With your feet in the sand as you gaze
out over green hills, shadowy palms and
the tranquil sea, you will soon forget
about the stresses of everyday life back
home. And if you really just want to
relax, you will find the perfect place to
do so in the soft sands of Port Antonio,
Maria la Gorda and the British Virgin
Islands.
