DESCRIPTION

The Notre Dame Basilica is Saigon’s main church that was built around 1880 around when Vietnam became part of French Indochina. There are 2 bell towers 190 feet high with 6 bronze bells and all of the building materials were brought here from France.

Saigon War Remnants Museum and Ho Chi Minh City Tour

Today we continue our tour of Saigon more formerly known as Ho Chi Minh City the

former capital of anti-communist South Vietnam. As we pass by wide boulevards, green

parks and historic French colonial buildings, we arrive in District 1 for a walk around

central Saigon city.

Inside there are more artillery and several floors of exhibits including the Agent Orange

wing and photo galleries.
