Research & Training Center

The center was established in 2011 with the purpose of evolving agriculturaltechniques that are adequate and suitable for the hot and dry climates. Thiscenter contains a number of international specialists in addition tointernational experts belongs to several international and regionalagricultural research centers that are attached to the center throughtechnical agreements.

The center preforms many agricultural researches in the field of developingmodern agricultural techniques such Soilless culture (Hydroponics), greenhouse management, fully controlled growing rooms, integrated productionand protection techniques (IPPM), etc...

The center provides numerous training opportunities for technicians,extension agents, and growers from the Arabian Peninsula region, Asia andNorth Africa through an extensive training programs that depends onpractical field work and conducted by highly specialized scientists.

The center also initiates many studies about food security, moderntechniques for vegetable production as well as visibility studies andspecialized development studies.
