Title: “Design and Fabrication of Industrial Automatic Power Saving Conveyor System”.Description: The main objective of the project is to operate the conveyor system only when the tags are sensed. In order to reduce the power consumption, we use object detection sensors in material handling operations and micro-controller to provide optimal power to the motor. The biggest benefit of this automation technique is that it saves labor cost. However, it is also used to save energy and to improve quality, accuracy and precision.Duration: 4 months (From December 2014 - April 2015)Role: Team LeaderTeam Size: 5 members
