Safety Links was formed in 2003 because there was a need for a safety, health and environmental company that

would do business differently in Florida. While there were companies who offered safety training, provided

industrial hygiene services, and wrote safety programs, the level of customer service, responsiveness andoverall commitment to quality was lacking.

Now nearly a decade later, we have provided our innovative

safety, health and environmental solutions to thousands

of businesses, nonprot organizations, and governmental

entities throughout Florida and beyond. While we have been

very fortunate to progressively grow our customer list our

commitment to you has not changed.

As a Safety Partner you know that our customer service and

responsiveness is second to none. As a student you know that our unique training opportunities are unmatched. As a client of our safety coaching or industrial hygiene services you have experienced our commitment to

    providing the most site-specic solutions.

Thinking about the lives that we have touched is a daily reminder of why we do safety. I am proud of the

results we have helped you achieve; the countless injuries that havent happened and the millions of dollars in

    assets that have been saved.

Now, in 2011 and beyond, we continue our pledge to provide you with the knowledge, tools and expertise

you need to better manage and control safety within your organizations. Whether you are a current or a future

partner, I hope our innovative services, products and training opportunities described in this mini-catalogue can

help you achieve your safety goals.

    Sincerely,

    Trevor Reschny

    President- Safety Links Inc.

Qualications and experience: Like doctors, engineers, or even accountants, wedo not measure our level of training, education, and experience in hours like many OSHA style trainers, we

use years and decades as our metric. Like other true professionals our coaches have years of formal education,

experience, and are BOARD CERTIFED by their peers.

Customer Service like the good old days: Aside from our unmatchedlevel of innovation and qualications, it is our personal touch that you will

emails is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, youll come to realize

how our responsiveness and quick turnaround will make your life easier!

friendly guides and provide amazing training programs that eliminate interpretation and guess work. We know

that the easier it is to understand the more likely it will succeed.

Using this type of approach you will view compliance as aminimum.

    Respirator Medicals and

    Fit Testing

Respirator MedicalsTo ensure that wearing respiratory protection doesnt cause undue concern, OSHA requires you to provide a

medical evaluation to determine the employees ability to use a respirator, before the employee is t tested or

required to use the respirator in the workplace.

Safety Links can provide the required OSHA questionnaire to you and your staff and then have the

questionnaire reviewed by a Board Certied Occupational Physician. After the questionnaire has been reviewed

by the Physician we will provide you with a written document summarizing the physicians opinion.

    Price per questionnaire review- $30/person

Respirator Fit Testing (Qualitative)OSHA requires you to ensure that all of your employees who use tight-tting

respirators (including ltering face pieces like N95) be t tested prior to initial

use, whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) is

used, and at least annually thereafter.

Qualitative t tests (QLFT) rely on your response to test agents such as

saccharin, bitrex, irritant smoke or banana oil. A QLFT, according to 29 CFR

1910.134(f)(6), must only be used to t test negative pressure air-purifying

respirators which are half mask respirators or below.

    Price per test- $30/person

Respirator Fit Testing (Quantitative Test With Portacount)A quantitative t test (QNFT) means an assessment of the adequacy of

respirator t by numerically measuring the amount of leakage into the respirator.

A QNFT is necessary for respirators that must achieve a t factor of greater than

    100. This includes a full face respirator, or an atmosphere-supplying respirator.

When possible Safety Links recommends using a QNFT for all t tests including

t tests for half mask respirators!

    Price per test- $30/person

Employees must be t tested prior to initial use, whenever a different

respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) is used, and at least an-

    nually thereafter

causation. To prevent recurrences of similar incidents the investigator must be able to nd all possible answers

to the question, why did the incident happen? Our impartial investigators do not have any vested interest in

the outcomes of the investigation and can therefore objectively nd the root causes.

Needs Assessment/ Gap AnalysisOur Needs Assessment/ Gap Analysis will provide a non-bias, nongovernmental assessment of your operations

to assist you in preparing a step-by-step plan for improvement. It is important to note that this service is not a
