Expocity Albania launches the 2nd Edition, “Safety & Security Expo 2019” on February 6-7, 2020.
Expocity Albania will gather in important sector representatives which will showcase their latest security products and services, with numerous participants from across the country, region and beyond. The event will build a communication bridge between various entities from the private sector, which will showcase and promote their latest products and services, as well as the institutions and companies for which security is a critical key component in their progress, thus to create demand-supply links and a number of opportunities for cooperation.
The 2nd Edition, “Safety & Security Expo 2019” will bring together local and international representatives of the public and private sectors, as well as, experts in the security sector, which will
share and discuss ideas around sector development and the latest market trends.
In a society undergoing constant and indispensable development such as Albania, security remains an increasingly growing necessity, but not only. The demand for safety and security is a critical need, and the demand for it is constantly increasing, not only within the country, but also in the region. This is due to heightened security concerns, such as possible attacks against public and private institutions, including commercial buildings, airports, shopping malls, manufacturing plants, banks, commercial offices, residential houses, etc. Furthermore, increase in the quality and standard of living in Albania has led to a growing demand for more security, including urban security, safety and health at work, home etc.

to develop in the early 1990s, after the system changed. The current security law fully departs from the state’s exclusivity approach to security, treating private security and insurance companies as genuine business entities. The law itself defines as its purpose the “regulation” of their activity. As such, public institutions participating in the event are encouraged to share informative ideas and techniques to improve security in Albania.
“Safety & Security Expo 2020” invites all local, regional and international companies from the sector, to participate and to collaborate with all relevant market stakeholders, as well as generate value and exchange ideas via forums, workshops, etc.
This exhibition is a comprehensive event which goes beyond the promotion of latest products and services, as it will also feature the latest technological innovations of the sector. This is due to the increasing diversity of security products nowadays and the growing need for to understand their functionalities. This exhibition will serve as a communication platform, enabling partnerships and collaborations with local and international companies interested for the Albanian and regional markets. Taking into consideration that leading companies in the international market have finalized successful partnerships with some of the Balkan’s countries, the objective of “Safety & Security Expo 2020” is to enable dialogue to reach important security agreements and collaborations in the field of safety and security in Albania.
