Why we need this safety features in our daily life?

Based on physic concepts : inertia conceptAs we know, when car crash with solid thing,

the car stop suddenly, the driver will continue to move forward with the same speed before the car crashed. To reduce the impact, you need something to absorb that impact.

Why we need this safety features in our daily life?

Based on physic concepts: impulse force• The time of impact when vehicle are

involved in a collision is normally short. This will normally lead severe damage as the impulsive force that acts on the vehicles and its passenger can be extremely large. To reduce impulsive force, we need the crumple zone to length the time of collision.

How it is work?• To stop or keep the

driver and passengers tightly pressed to their seats.

The importance of seatbelt• Prevent the passenger

from being thrown out of the car. Slows down the forward movement of the passenger when the car stops abruptly.

airbagHow it is work?• Airbag have a sensor to detect the sudden deceleration

and impact on the car. When an impact occurs, it causes heating of a chemical called sodium azide. This release nitrogen gas quickly to inflate the airbag within a fraction of a second.

• Acts as cushion for the head and body in an accident and thus prevent injuries to the driver and passenger.
