Prevention Rebate
• Board approval – November 2016
• Program starts January 2018
• Criteria
– Employers must be SAFE Work Certified
– Compliance with WCA, WSH, CLC, etc.
– Good standing
• Rebate
– 15% of premium, or
– $3,000 to 75% of premium
Prevention Rebate
Examples:
• Employer pays $4,000 in premiums
rebate is $3,000 (75% of premiums)
• Employer pays $100,000 in
premiums rebate is $15,000 (15%
of premiums)
