• No need for software installation, books are available on the web

- More requested books for less requested books• Books available for all students and staff at entire
university• No page number limit on printing, as long as no
automated software is used
SAFARI pricing model
• Each book is worth certain points (slots)• Pay for entire package: top business and/or IT
books OR choose only the books you want• Pay for the number of points, not books (50 slots
minimum)• Choose the amount of simultaneous users (1 – 20)
and pay accordingly• Yearly subscription price• MARC records free of charge, downloadable from
the back office
SAFARI Technical Issues
• MARC records are available and they are according to OCLC standards
• Books can not be read offline nor on a PDA or hand-held computer
• Books can not be downloaded on the local server• Safari books are not Open URL compatible, but
this is an enhancement we will add in the future• Counter statistics are not available either, but this
is also a planned development for the future• The usage statistics are ICOLC compliant
