South Asian Evangelical Mission is an indigenous &
interdenominational organization raised by God in 1997 in India by
Evg.Dr.Stanley Simon. After his Academic and fundamental theological
studies he has started this mission with seven members those who
are having a great vision for losing souls. In the very beginning itself
God led them with a great aim to some north Indian states where
there is no any Christian witness. God gave an explosive growth in
every area of ministry. The S A E M is having a three fold objective,
To take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the unevangelized areas in
India and abroad, and to plant churches among these unreached
people. The Goal is ‘A CHURCH AMONG EVERY PEOPLE AND
GOSPEL TO EVERY PERSON’
To challenge Indian and foreign Christians to realize their
responsibility for the global evangelization and recognize their
partnership with other Christians in the world to fulfi ll this task.
To train our members to work in the fi eld of social development
to build up good society, nation and family.
The SAEM is actively involving in various types of ministries to
fulfi ll its three-fold objective. This includes personal evangelism, tract
distribution and door-to-door evangelism, crusades, youth seminars,
starting academic and technical training centers, social awareness
programs, church plantation and different kind of social development
activities. By the grace of God and dedicated work our team God gave
a marvelous growth in the fi led of ministry. At present 153 full time
missionaries are working under this organization all over India with
over 100 churches, two orphanages, Technical and Academic training
centers. The result we see in every day mission life makes us to move
restless in this great commission.

SAEM is actively involving in different types of ministries
to fulfi ll the it’s three fold objectives.
CHURCH PLANTATION.
This is the primary aim of the mission. According to
the present situation the Church plantation has become the
toughest work in India. Because in some states the conversion
to Christianity is legally prohibited under anti – conversional law.
And Hindu community has started their own work like Sunday
schools, Sunday services, seminars and conferences to educate
them in Vedas to stop conversion and to fi ght against the
Christian missionaries. And they have a wing to reconvert those
who have converted to Christianity. They use their mental, money
and muscle power to fi ght against the spreading of gospel. It
is very sad to say that some Christian charitable organizations
and Christians are helping them in funding from abroad. These
Hindu organizations named ‘Vishwa Hindu Parishath’ and
Bhajragdal’ are registered as NGOs under Government of India
to get suffi cient funding for their anti-Christian activities.
So it is very diffi cult to spread the gospel through direct
approach. Though the situation is bad we concentrate on door
to door visit with tracts. This is helping us to share the gospel
and to pray for the sick in that home. And when God is doing a
miracle in that particular family that is the opening of a home
church. Then we frequently visit them for evening meetings and
all. This is the way we are getting new churches…
