Peacock Theatre
Welcome to Peacock Theatre Situated in the heart of the West End, The Peacock Theatre is a truly unique venue ideal for conferences, seminars, pop concerts and award ceremonies and playing host to clients such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, EMI and Granada Television. The auditorium provides tiered seating for over 900 people with catering served in the newly refurbished Circle Bars.
Dimensions Stage ‐ The performance area is 11m width x 10m length with a total floor area of 110m² Stalls Bar ‐ The level is 9m width x 17m length with a total floor area of 153m² Dress Circle Bar ‐ The level is 11m width x 17m length with a total floor area of 187m² Sadler's Wells Room ‐ The room is split level 2.5m width x 10m length with a total floor area of 25m²
Audio Visual Features The Peacock Theatre is managed exclusively by a team of experienced technicians. Our technical specifications and equipment list provides comprehensive information on the technical features that are available for use when hiring the Peacock Theatre. This includes lighting, sound and stage equipment, the computerised fly system, power supplies, effects and communication equipment. Please ask a member of the Events team for a copy of the technical specifications.

Wheelchair spaces Standard setup allows for 2 wheelchair users (spaces). The number of wheelchair spaces in row N can be increased in response to demand. Dressing Rooms All dressing rooms have keypad locks, mirrors, audio show relay, paging calls and a video feed of the main stage. Additional showers and toilets are available on all levels. Below stage there is a Wardrobe complete with washing and drying machines. Please be aware that there is no lift access back stage at the Peacock; all levels are connected by stairs.

Hire Fee The daily hire rate for the Peacock Theatre is £9,360 plus VAT for use between 9.00am to 11pm. This includes:
- Event management - An allocation of technicians each on a 12 hour call* - Use of Peacock Theatre sound and light equipment (as detailed in the technical specifications) - A team of Front of House staff including a House Manager and ushers for the event duration - Exclusive use of Stalls and Dress Circle Bars - Exclusive use of Peacock dressing rooms and backstage areas * For additional technicians please ask the Events team for a copy of our hourly technician rates
Get‐in Days The Peacock Theatre is presented as a black box for the start of each event. In some cases a get‐in day will be necessary for the technical team to achieve the required lighting for an event, for example a professional lighting rig can take a crew of six staff between 6‐8 hours to achieve and approximately three to four hours to dismantle. The daily hire rate for Get‐in days is £4,680 plus VAT for use between 9.00am to 11pm. Get‐out To ensure each event gets as much time in the Peacock Theatre as possible it must be returned to its original operating mode at the end of each event, known as a ‘Get‐out’. This is charged at a standard hourly rate for each technician involved and can take up to 4 hours depending on sound and lighting requirements. Please ask a member of the Events team for a copy of our hourly technician rates.
Preferred Suppliers Catering is exclusively available through our in house catering team, Sadler's Wells Catering, who are happy to devise a menu to suit your needs and budget. For a list of our preferred furniture, flower and linen suppliers please contact the Events team.

By Tube – Holborn Station (Central/Piccadilly Lines), Convent Garden Station (Piccadilly Line) and Temple Station (District/Circle Lines) are all within walking distance of the theatre.
By Car ‐ Congestion Charge The Peacock Theatre is inside the congestion charge zone. If you want to drive in the congestion charge zone between 7am ‐ 6.00pm Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays, you will have to pay the £8.00 charge. There are some exemptions and discounts.
Parking – There is a 24 Hour Car Park on Parker Street with 340 spaces. There is limited free on street parking behind the Peacock Theatre around Lincoln's Inn Fields after 6.30pm Mon ‐ Sat and all day Sun (not residents' bays). Access this from Portugal or Sardinia Streets.
