O my Divine Beloved, the absolute supreme Shree Krishna!

I suffered to extremes in this world from the very beginning as I have

associations, that even having learnt from your loving saints, that you

are waiting for me with open arms to embrace, and you are looking to

me with your graceful eyes to grace, I have failed to surrender my“self”

Meaning: Let us perform Aarti of our lords, beloved Shree Krishna and the supremely beautiful Radha Rani.

Their heads are adorned with glittering golden crowns and their ears, with beautiful earrings that sway back and forth. The sweet nectar of divine love is flowing from their eyes.

They both have extremely sweet and melodious voices. Their eyes are overflowing with nectar. Their piercing glances injure the heart, and their beauty attracts even the heart of Kamdev(celestial god of beauty).

  • 10

I sacrifice myself upon the charming way they look at one another. The beauty of their curly hair is beyond description. The movement of their eyebrows is bewitching.Their lips are pink with the juice of betel leaves. Their captivating smile, the brightness of their teeth and the elegance of their nose-pearls, are adding an extraordinary charm to their unparalleled beauty.

A yellow silky shawl is swaying gently on the shoulders of Shree Krishna, and a blue sari is embracing the divine body of Shree Radha. Both are wearing beautiful pearl necklaces. The jingling of their bracelets and waist chains, and the tinkling of their anklets, is producing an enchanting sound that forcibly steals the heart.

The crown of peacock-feathersadorning Shree Krishna’s headis exquisite, as is the 'chunari’adorning Shree Radha Rani’shead. Words fail to describe the glory of the gentle and enchanting slant of their heads towards one another. In this way, Radha and Krishna are standing with arms around each other, surrounded by the gopis. Says Shree ‘Kripalu’, “They appear even more beautiful as they gaze lovingly into each other’s eyes.”

Meaning - Let us perform the arati of the crest-jewel of rasiksaints, Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj.

The divine light that shines forth from the nails of his lotus feet destroys the darkness of ignorance within the heart. The delusive power Maya, with all her attendants (anger, greed, hatred, envy, etc.) goes away greatly disappointed from the individual on whose head my beloved master has placed his hand of love and protection.

That most fortunate individual thereby attains the abode, knowledge and love of Shree Krishna, the beloved of Radha Rani.O my foolish mind! Do not place your faith in this world and its people. Seek shelter at the Guru’s lotus feet. Even Shree Krishna will not help you until you have surrendered to a Guru. Shree Kripalu Mahaprabhu is the ocean of divine love and grace. Why don’t you, a helpless orphan, put an end to your pitiable condition by surrendering to such a merciful master?

Even Shree Krishna’s grace is dependent on the Guru’s grace. The veritable descension of devotional nectar, Shree Kripalu Mahaprabhu effectively reconciles the apparent contradictions contained in all the Scriptures. He freely distributes the names, attributes, forms, abodes, pastimes and selfless love of Shree Radha-Krishna......thereby inspiring people all over the world to lead a successful human life.

Looking at him, one cannot help thinking that Radha and Krishna have together assumed this form of his in order to grace devotees. Shining with divinity, his eyes are always filled with love and grace. His humor is divine, as is his gentle and beautiful smile. His hearty laughter forcibly steals the heart. His intoxicating gait immediately reminds one of the mischievous Krishna. Let us all perform his arati.

Inside a very beau.ful flowery grove in Vrindavan, by the bank of the river Yamuna, Lord Krishna is si>ng underneath

the kalpa tree (wish- fulfilling tree), with one leg crossed over the other.

His complexion, as blue as a rain-bearing cloud, illumines the world with its luster. His body is anointed with a paste made of camphor and sandalwood, and he is wearing yellow silky

garments. His cap.va.ng large eyes appear to almost reach his ears,

and his ears are adorned with earrings. He is wearing necklaces made of precious gems like the ‘Kaustubh’. There is

a very gentle smile on his lotus face. The Supreme Lord is wearing a ‘vanamala’ (garland made of

the tulsi, kunda, mandara, parijata and lotus flowers). Such is the luster of his divine body that it is enhancing the splendor

of his bracelets, rings and other ornaments. This transcendental luster is destroying the darkness of Kaliyug. His curly black locks embrace his head like twining creepers, and the humming bees aMracted by these vines of love are further enhancing the scene. Lord Krishna is si>ng in the

groves, sharing food with His playmates, the cowherd boys.Visualize Shree Krishna, the embodiment of bliss. He is being fanned by the gentle breeze made fragrant by the ‘mandaar’

flowers, and his lotus feet are being served by the celes.al river Ganga.

His Divine fragrance is pervading all the four direc.ons. Meditate on him who is surrounded by thousands of cows

even more beau.ful than the celes.al cow ‘Kamdhenu’. Meditate on the Prince of the Yadu dynasty, who drives away the fear of the gods and who ins.lls fear in the heart of the

    demons.

O my mind! You have been blessed with residence in the divine abode of your beloved Gurudev as a result of many lifetimes of

virtuous actions. Take advantage of this great fortune by surrendering to your Guru and serving him wholeheartedly.

Meditate on God and Guru at all times, and chant their glories. Realize the human life to be temporary, and resolve not to waste

even a single moment.Amongst all holy places, Vrindavan reigns supreme. But such is the

importance of the Guru’s abode, that even Vrindavan can be sacrificed upon it. Shree Krishna himself comes running to that

devotee who is surrendered to his Guru’s lotus feet. The Supreme Lord accepts pure-hearted devotees, whereas the Guru delivers the fallen souls. (This is why the Guru has been called even

greater than God!) Whether or not he is anyone else’s Guru, I sacrifice my all upon my greatest fortune that has brought Shree

    Kripalu Mahaprabhu as my Guru.
