Edasjewels was created from an innovative standpoint, initially focusing on sustainability while using unusual home-goods and refurbished elements. Through the maturity of the brand, Edasjewels now delivers feminine and delicate pieces, accommodating the everyday woman. Each piece is made to be worn alone or paired, giving you a sense of customization and contrast. I strive to make women feel beautiful and keep our obsession with layering pieces a trend that can be worn ALL year round, a Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter sensation.

Love Furever

Love FurEver was a concept derived from the power of being in love while doing it in style, specifically focusing on fur. We wanted to portray women as being the more dominant ones in a relationship, the one wearing the pants, plaid ones of course. For this particular project I worked in a collaborative setting, my responsibilities where styling and creative directing the shoot.

The Detangled is a light fixture designed with brass metal sheets, scrap chain and brass 24-gauge wire. This light fixture was designed to fit the aesthetic of Opening Ceremony. To define this piece, I punched holes on the exterior of the lamp to give off a reflection, I also used different lengths, colors and styles of chain to add dimension to the eye.

I was assigned a project that consisted of making a sustainable accessory out of old items in our closet. When making this accessory we had to use all of the pieces that where taken from the item found and assemble it using only 100% natural products (No glue, tape etc). I designed a bag made from a 90’s denim top and old summer shorts. The bag is both machine and hand stitched and I used approximately 87% of my garment when making the item, which left me with 13% waste.

Funky Flats NYC is the cyber home for all things home decor. We visit the homes of New York City's most intriguing artists and their appealing, conceptualized “flats,” and record and journalize the experience. Funky flats was built from a foundation of sisterhood and stands at the midpoint of the creative planes of women who come from variant disciplines of artistry promoting art and expression in the community. Funkyflatsnyc.com provides a tri-weekly posting of a video showcasing the space of the artist. My responsibilities entail scouting potential features, controlling the social media handles and website development.

Womens Wear Fall/ Winter 2014

This is my Womens Wear Fall/ Winter 2014 collection. I incorporated mixed fabrics while keeping a clean and simplistic color pallet. I wanted to play with prints and textures that allowed each garment to flow naturally on a woman. My demographic for this collection was 18-30 year old females, living in a metropolitan area. This particular collection was titled “Redesigned Revolution”.

Mens Wear Fall/ Winter 2014

This is my Men’s Wear Fall/ Winter 2014 collection. I designed this particular collection with the mindset of “If I were a boy, Id wear”. With that in mind, I was able to present a collection that was completely masculine yet still incorporating some feminine elements as well. My demographic for this collection was 18-30 year old males, living in a metropolitan area.
