II. Identifying Problems• As we have seen the company’s overview, we

would likely to have the impression that this company had reach their goal in their chosen field.

• The company had been in the industry for more than 50 years and still counting their years of giving quality housewares for the Filipino family.

• Despite of every success is the improvement that needed to improve for them to make the best of every product they produce. Just like any company, MPTII, also known as OMEGA, had also experiencing problems that needed a further improvement. These include:

problems and later on, as we start conduct more researches and interview. We would further provide elaborated solutions for these problems.

III. Planning stage• Lacking in Advertising strategies

Having a good marketing strategy in a business is one of the most important elements in establishing a business. It was hard for the consumers to build a trust on a product who is barely known. We can see that OMEGA was barely known by many people. We can suggest a better social media accounts and to establish a Website so that people would be totally aware the quality product.

• Slow system specifically the inventory systemIt would be a big problem to have a slow system specially if would be an inventory system. We would suggest to upgrade it in its latest version so that it can never produce a inaccurate data that may lead to incoherent data.

• Shortage of Supply due to sudden change of Demand• It was hard to determine when is the greater and lesser

demand of a product. It would be easier for them to identify it if they would have a calendar estimation of demand. Try to trace the earlier years of demand and identify which month has the greater and lesser demand. In this strategy, we would likely to expect a lesser shortage of supplies.

• No retail store• It would be better for them to establish a retail store in their

own. But it would create impact if they produce products that cannot be seen to their client stores.

• Lack of innovative design with their product• As we can see with their design system, it is more likely,

they gain the market of the adults and children rather than the teenagers. I suggest that why don’t they try to have designs that teen can relate.

Strength• The company had been 56 years in

the industry. They had been proving that they have the right to have a place in the industry. The following are the strengths of the firm:

• The produce world-class products.• Wide range of houseware items for the

Filipino community.• Trusted due to its high-quality products.

• All companies had their own points that needs on futher improvement. These includes the following:

• Lack of ideas in their advertising strategy.• No retail shop.• Lack of innovative product design especially for

teens.

OpportunityTheir products are somehow needs

of the people. For them to grow further and to be well-known locally and internationally, it would be easier for them to get linked with the social media wherein tons of advertiser today are being engaged. We can see the potential of this company to be more aggressive in competing with the global market

Threat• The companies who are in

their same field might also thinks of the better ways for them to improve. Some companies may think of other innovative products and use tons of advertisement for them to get the rank one. The firm must focus in achieving their visions and do not let other firm to interfere with that vision.
