2015 Catholic Appeal Update

St. Joseph Preparatory High School in Boston, a co-ed Catholic, independent school which offers shuttle bus transportation from area commuter rail stops, will offer a five session Test Prep for the Catholic High School Entrance Test (HSPT) in the fall for students who seek to maximize performance for admission and scholarship opportunities.

Space is limited and registration is available on a first come, first serve basis. Entrance testing in the Archdiocese is scheduled for November 7th and December 5th and will also be offered at St. Joe’s.

Week 3 July 13-17 Mad Science Join us for an adventure filled week with science experi-ments and presentations by Miss Bus. Week 4 July 20-24 Outdoor Adventure We will have scavenger hunts and outdoor adventures all week.

Week 5 July 27-31 Talent Week Show off your talent and explore new talents as well.

Week 6 August 3-7 Water Play This week we will have fun with water activities every day.

Week 7 August 10-14 Technology Week Children will be abel to use computers, netbooks, iPads and other electronics all week.

Week 8 August 17-21 Aloha Week Come and enjoy outdoor games, crafts, sports, and a variety of aloha activities for our last week of Summer Fun School.

Northeast Catholic College, Warner, NH is pleased to announce that it will be offering a four-year $8,000 scholarship for room and board to any freshman or transfer student who enrolls at Northeast Catholic College by August 1, 2015.

“Now more than ever, young people need a faithful and vibrant Catholic education for the good of the Church and renewal of our nation,” Dr. George Harne, President of Northeast Catholic College said about the scholarship.

Over the past 30 years the cost of tuition in the United States has sky-rocketed and through this scholarship opportunity, Northeast Catholic College hopes to make a Catholic, liberal arts education accessible to students who may not have been otherwise able to afford it. The reduction in cost represents an $8,000 discount for the fall 2015-2016 academic year and will be worth more than $32,000 over four years.

Northeast Catholic College is also still offering additional merit and need-based aid for the fall 2015 semester.

The summer Fun School at Cheverus Catholic School is a multi-faceted program designed to provide students with an enjoyable, yet productive expe-rience. It is offered to parents seeking structure and supervision for their chil-dren during the summer months. The program is open to all children from preschool through grade 8. The daily schedule runs from 8:00am to 5:00pm from June 22 through August 21, however, there will be no session the week of July 6.

Parents are responsible for providing daily snack, lunch, plenty to drink, and sunscreen. Additionally, when the schedule requires, students should bring a bathing suit and towel.

The program will have a weekly theme with a field trip.
