Stewardship Corner ~

As stewards, we are to be responsible with the gifts God has given us- we are to give those gifts back to Him in multiplicity. How can we do this?

As humans, we are easily entertained, sidetracked, and overtaken by things that are not from God. These are the birds and the thorns referred to today in the Gospel. When we succumb to the worldly pleasures culture provides to us, the seeds He sows in us by His Word cannot thrive. Our ability to refrain from these worldly pleasures and to enrich ourselves in Him even when we feel adequately faithful or religious allows His Word to grow within us and produce fruit. We must take the time to continually make ourselves rich in spirit in order that we provide the good soil for His Word to grow. Faith is a lifelong journey, and without this continual striving, His Word can wind up squandered in our complacency. In living out His call to us and by our great example to the world through our own words and actions, God’s Kingdom will grow. Enrich yourself in His Word and be the steward God calls you to be by acting it out.

Peace,

Kaitlyn Wiant

Sacred Heart School

Many Families, One Heart

Thank you to everyone who attended our first carnival. The week was a huge

success and we thank you for your support!

It is not too late to provide your preschooler with a great start to his or her

educational career. We still have openings in both pre-k 3 and pre-k 4 classes.

Our certified teachers bring years of collective experience to an engaging and

developmentally appropriate educational program. We recognize and celebrate

creativity and individuality. Our children develop socially, spiritually, emotionally

and academically in a nurturing and familial environment,

To schedule a tour, please contact the school at

[email protected] or 610-932-3633

Sacred Heart is a Middle States Accredited school where we strive to

create an environment in which teachers, students, and parents

work together to educate, celebrate and embrace the individuality

of each student.

Eucharistic Adoration “Be Still and Know That I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)

On July 4th, did you thank Our Lord for the many freedoms we enjoy in this country?

One way to thank Him is to visit Him in the Blessed Sacrament. He is always waiting

for you in the silence.

Eucharistic Adoration is held every Tuesday from 8 am to 7 pm concluding with mass. All are

welcome!

If you are interested in becoming an adorer, or would like more information about Eucharistic Ado-

ration, please contact Joann Di Liberto at 610 932 8962.

Thank you to all those who participated in the Forty Hours Devotion. We could not have had this

beautiful devotion without your participation.
