Introduction

It was prophesied by the Indians. Now it is proven by New Biology:Mother Earth and all her life forms are one. It is time for the peoples ofEarth to embrace this truthand each other.

Long ago, Chief Seattle prophesied that Earth and herchildren will become very sick, and when this happens,Rainbow Warriors will appear to restore health.

Drawing upon Native American wisdom, personal

revelation and leading edge biology, I endeavor to tell the storyofHomo sapiensin a way its never been told before. The storyof mankind, I believe, is NOT the story told by the religions.It is the story of a grand quest for greater and greater truth,not the story of disobedience to God and subsequent declinetoward destruction.

A great truth I learned about ten years ago is that aproof of the Gaia hypothesis exists. Our planet is a singularand sentient organism. What is mankind in relation to Gaia?Humans are components of the innervation (nervous) systemof the planet. As the immune system is part of the innervationsystem, they may also be described as the immune cells of theplanet. The immune cell has a unique missionto know the

unknown.As a necessary part of the great quest, mankind had to

split itself into two partsaboriginal and separatist. The job

of the aboriginals was to keep, and to live, the original wisdom.The job of the separatists, who separated themselves from theancient wisdom, was to go forth and explore the unknown.

In the end times, if they end right, the two major

groups will come together again, as brothers and sisters, andshare all they have learned. This is the Reunion of thePeoples.

This book uses a Native American styling. Genetically,I am not an Indian. Philosophically, I am. I am what is called

a Seton Indian, a white guy who follows Ernest ThompsonSeton in the belief that the traditional Native American visionof life is far more wholesome than the standard white vision.Indeed, my father and mother were among the original SetonIndians. Not long ago, I was delighted to hear a traditionalMohawk friend say he regarded Seton Indians as realIndians. So there you have it. Im a real Indian after all.

Its November 17th, 2004. The cowboys are in theWhite House, and all of us Indians are in big trouble. TheGreat White Cowboy doesnt care a whit for protection of theenvironment, and if you dont believe me, read Robert F.Kennedy Jr.s new book, Crimes Against Nature.

Why is important to nurture Mother Nature? Because

she is our greater self. The proof of the Gaia hypothesis is in,and youll be reading about it in this book. Mother Earth is asingular and a sentient organism. (Some of the Gaia advocatesdisagree with the singular and sentient concept, but dont

worry theyll learn in due course.) You protect your ownbody, dont you? You dont allow companies to come in andmine the calcium out of your bones. You dont shovel highly

toxic substances into your belly. You dont allow the bloodcartel to pump all the blood out of your body! Motherdeserves the same respect and care.

Its purification time! The Hour has come round at last,as the Hopi elders say. Were all in for changes with a capitalC, and some of us are in for big trouble the users andabusers of Mother Earth. Would you allow parasites to crawl

all over your skin? Seems to me Mother has been very patientup till now, but that patience is about to end.

In the times of change, we Indians have a few things inour favor. As mentioned, we now know, for sure, that MotherEarth is singular and sentient. That knowledge willcondition, as the psychologists say, a far more respectfulattitude toward nature on the part of many, if not most, of herchildren.

Also in our favor is the growing realization on the partof all those outside the various chosen peoplefundamentalisms that planetary flourishing, perhaps evensurvival, depends upon mankinds ability to protect ethnicdiversityas well as bio-diversity.

Each ethnic group, as the Hopi would say, is one of thespots on a fawn. A spots mission is not to rub out all theother spots, but to support, from its particular location, the lifeof the fawn, the whole organism.

Both bio-diversity and ethnic diversity are under greatattack these days, especially by international corporations

seeking to monopolize the natural resources of the world. Thenative protectors of these resources are often re-located, oreliminated, as part of the process.

Thomas Banyancya

It was March 1999. About forty people gathered at theSapa Dawn center in Yelm, Washington, to participate in amemorial service for Thomas Banyancya, the Hopi messengerof peace.

I had met Thomas on only four occasions during thenineties, but, like most others who met him, I felt he was alife-long friend.

As I sat waiting for the ceremony to begin, my minddrifted off to the time I last saw him alive. June, 1998

It had been raining for days, but as we gathered arounda big fire to celebrate Thomas birthday (June 2), the heavy rainlet up and a mother rain blessed us. Several birds perchedsinging in a nearby tree, and that seemed to provide Thomas

with a cue.

He motioned us to sit, and then he began to speak.Many years ago, he said, I went to Los Alamos with a fewfriends. You maybe know Los Alamos as the place where they

made the atom bomb. He looked at us solemnly for amoment, then continued. Before they were making bombsthere, the land was Indian land. Sacred to the Indians.

Well, I thought the land might need some healing, andso we went there. I found a good place near the top of a hilland started building our fire. Right away, a government manshowed up. Hey, he said, you cant build a fire there!

I told him what we want to do, to have a little talk withthe land and see if we could heal it. He let us do ourceremony, but no fire! It was a little strange to me. Here was

a person who was maybe making fires that could destroy allthe world, and he wasnt going to let us have our little healingfire!

Pretty soon, Thomas said softly, some birds came to

watch us. Just like the birds here are doing. And some smallanimals came along, too. The government man stood nearby.He was watching, too.

Then, right out of the blue, there were two eaglesflying over us and then, there were two more eagles! Helifted an arm to the skies. I glanced toward the government

man and saw he was looking up.Pretty soon, along came four more eagles!and so

there were eight altogether. Even I was impressed! Ive seenthe birds and animals come to our ceremonies before, but Idnever seen eight eagles show up.

When we finished our ceremony and were getting

ready to leave, the government man came over to me andshook my hand. And do you know what? There were tears inthe eyes of this man.

March, 1999. Many spoke about Thomas and his life.All had tears in their eyes. I learned much about my friend.

Before becoming the Hopi peace messenger, Thomashad undergone a trial by fire. During the Second World War,he declared himself a conscientious objector and spent manyyears in prison.

After the war, he began the work that was to consumethe rest of his lifebringing the Hopi prophecies to theattention of mankind.

The prophecies foretold the creation of the United

Nations and said that a messenger of the Hopi must knock onthe doors of this house of mica four times, and ask for the

opportunity to share the Hopi wisdom with the assembledrepresentatives of mankind.

If the messenger was given the opportunity, theprophecies said, then the long-predicted purification of the

planet would not be too hard. If the messenger was denied,however, the purification would be harsh.

Thomas followed the instructions of the elders andknocked on the doors of the United Nations four times. Fourtimes he was refused.

Never unwilling to walk an extra mile to achieve a goal

he desired, Thomas knocked on the doors of the UnitedNations a fifth time. This time, he was granted an opportunityto speak, though not to the whole assembly.

The White Buffalo Calf

August 20, 1994 ... this was a very sacred day in thehistory of our Homo sapiensspecies. This is the day on whichthe white buffalo calf was born, fulfilling an old Indianprophecy.

According to the prophecy, the birth of the whitebuffalo calf signals the beginning of a time of reunification ofthe peoples of the planet. Peoples everywhere, the prophecysays, will remember that they are all relatives. They will putdown their weapons of war, and start walking the peace path.

The white calf was born on a farm south of Janesville,Wisconsin. It was given the name "Miracle." A very good

name. The chances of a buffalo calf being born white are, Iam told, about one in six billion.

In sacred legend, White Buffalo Calf Woman, alsocalled Ptesan Win, appeared to the Lakota people over sixcenturies ago.

She was first seen by two buffalo hunters. She has long

flowing hair and was very beautiful in her white buckskin.The first hunter, taken by her beauty, was consumed by

lust. When he reached out to touch her, he was coveredinstantly in a white mist. When the mist dissipated, all that wasleft of him was a skeleton. The skull was full of snakes.

Ptesan Win told the other hunter to go to his people

and tell them to make a great lodge out of several tipis, toprepare for her visit.

This he did, and when it was done, Ptesan Win enteredinto the village, singing. From her satchel she took a sacred

pipe, the bowl of which was fashioned out of red stone. Onthe stem of the pipe was a carving of a buffalo figure, andtwelve Eagle feathers.

Then from the satchel she brought forth a stone

inscribed with seven rings, one ring for each of seven rites inwhich the pipe would be used.

As she was leaving, Ptesan Win told the Lakota thatafter four ages had passed, she would return.

She began walking toward the horizon. After going ashort distance, she kneeled down and turned into a red

buffalo. After another short distance, she kneeled down andturned into a brown buffalo. Then, after walking anothershort distance, she lay in the dust and rolled over. When shearose, she was a white buffalo calf.

White Buffalo Calf Woman came long ago to teach usthat what seems to be just material is in fact spiritual. Ptesan

Win taught some very simple ways by which people can showthey know and respect the divinity of nature.

Divinity cannot be embraced, or even touched, by

greedy human hands. Thus it was that the buffalo hunter whoreached out in lust to touch Ptesan Win was destroyed.

The Four Ages

On the very same day the white buffalo calf was born, Ileft behind the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains south of SanFrancisco and began my journey back home to the Nisqually

Valley of Washington state.

While in the golden mountains for a few months, Ibecame friends with a great biologist by the name of BruceLipton. Bruce has come up with a proof of the Gaiahypothesis that the planet is a single organism. If anyonestarts giving out White Buffalo Calf awards for contributionsto world peace, I think Bruce ought to get one.

As one result of my long talks with Bruce, I realizedwhat were the four ages mentioned by White Buffalo Calf

Woman.The first age is the Age of the Great Separation. This

is the time when a part of our species separated itself from theaboriginal wisdom.

The second age is called the Greco-Roman age. Thegreat thing in this second age was warfaring. If a warrior was

able to really impress the gods, he got to become aconstellation.

The third age is the Judeo-Christian age. This is an agein which the Western people came to believe that warfaring isholy. The Catholic Church went to war against all peoples ofthe world who didn't believe the things they believed.

The fourth age is the present one, and this age is basedon a vision of existence in which everything is fightingeverything else. This vision is called Darwinism.

Darwinism was invented in the middle of the nineteenthcentury, and it became the orthodox science of evolution in amatter of twenty years. It is still the orthodoxy, believe it ornot.

Today, the high priest of the orthodoxy is RichardDawkins. What Dawkins tells people is that our bodies are

war machines run by the genes, genes struggling fordomination.

From Darwinism came Social Darwinism. SocialDarwinism is the basis for the various socialismsnational,

international, and global.Socialism is short for social organism. The social

organism is the big important thing, the socialists believe, andindividuals must be controlled by strong governments, forindividuals are, as Darwin said, nothing but beasts. Thesegovernments must be guided by scientists. In our time,scientists are the priests.

The present name for Darwinism is "neo-Darwinism."Neo-Darwinism says that all human behavior, including thehighest forms of consciousness, comes from the genes. Inorder to create a peaceful world, the neo-Darwinists says, weneed to genetically engineer a new peaceful species.

The fourth age, the Age of the Darwinisms, is just about

over. The beginning of the end was the coming of the NewPhysics. The old physics is separatist. It separates space andtime, energy and matter, object and observer. The NewPhysics is holistic. It proves the truth of the aboriginal

wisdom ... our world is a holistic reality, a beautiful basketwoven of energy, light and thought.

The birth of the white buffalo calf marked the end ofthe fourth age. Whats coming next?

Floyd Hand, a spiritual leader from Pine Ridge, saysthere is a period of purification that is beginning nowa

period that will end with the unification of the nations. Ibelieve this is a true understanding.

The unification will be speeded up when more peoplecome to know the scientific truth that the planet is oneorganism, a very big version of the biological cell, and thateverything biological is part of the nervous system of the

planet.Let August 20th be forever a day of great celebration,

signifying the dawn of enlightenment. On this day in 1994, theBlack Road came to an end ... and the Red Road began.

Comet ScienceIndian and

White

Some years ago, Thomas Banyancya told Janet McCloudshe should cut down the big trees around her house.

Janet is a Tulalip elder. Her Indian name is Yet Si Blue,which means grandmother to all. She is a wise woman who,back in the sixties, was invited to become a messenger for theHopi elders. At the time, she was much involved in anti-war

work and so she said Not now, later. She never got anotherinvitation from the elders.

Still, over the years, Janet did wonderful work at her

Sapa Dawn Center in Yelm. There were many meetings ofIndian elders from all over the country at Sapa Dawn. In lateryears, Indians and whites met there, especially when Thomas,messenger of the Hopi elders, came to speak and to leadceremonies.

The Sapa Dawn Center will one day become one of five

great peace centers in North America. This Thomas said backin the nineties.

Janet loved the trees around the Center, but whenThomas told her to cut them, she did. She knew she couldrely completely on Thomas and the wisdom of the elders.

The big winds are coming, Thomas told her. He wastalking about the winds of the prophesied Purification.

The word science means simplyknowingknowing asopposed to guessing. Any and all conclusions based on closeobservation of nature over a period of time, can be consideredscientific.

The science of the Hopis goes back to very ancienttimes, and its the job of the Hopi elders to preserve thatscience and, when the timing is right, to share it.

A peoples science is a very important thing. Science ismeant to help people.

The ancient Hopi science recalls the appearance of

many comets in our solar system and the effects of thosecomets on earth life. The blue ones, the Hopi say, are thereally bad ones. They bring the devil winds.

Comets are just dirty snowballs, the white scientistssay. They cannot have much effect on Earth unless they hitdirectly.

There is only one white scientist who knows and speaksthe truth about comets. Great though he is, he is notconsidered an elder by the whites. He is an out-cast. Cast out

of his profession and from NASA. His name is James M.McCanney.

NASA says the sun is electrically neutral. McCanneysays the solar system is a big battery, the sun being the negativeanode. The positive anode is way out beyond Pluto, in cloudsof ionized particles and gases.

McCanney says that when comets come into the solarsystem, they begin to interact with the sun, which he calls asolar capacitor. The sun, McCanney writes, producesthousands of times more energy in the form of electrical

energy as it does in the form of light energy. The Earth, hesays, is buffered from this by its large magnetic field.

Under certain circumstances, McCanney says, a cometintruder can cause a severe disruption of the Earths magnetic

field, and the effects could be catastrophic.

Right at this time a very large intruder is coming intothe solar system, he says. How does he know? The solar cycleshould have peaked in 2000, but instead, solar activity hascontinued to increase. The sun, he says, looks like a giantpopcorn maker.

NASA and all the astrophysicists, except McCanney, arebeing very silent about this intruder. NASA, McCanney says,is under strict orders not to release any information that couldalarm the public.

McCanney says the big intruder, which could be thePlanet X, is entering the solar system from the bottom. In

other words, if the South Pole was a pointing finger, it wouldbe pointing at the intruder.

This is very interesting to me, as in 1969, ThomasBanyancya quoted Maasauu, the Great Spirit of the Hopi, assaying: Your land will be divided and shall be cut up fourtimes, each cut smaller that the others. From the South a powerwill rise to come and help when the time comes.

So which do you prefer?Indian science or NASAscience? Maybe NASA stands for No real AstrophysicsScience Allowed.

This time looks to me like a good time for preparing forthe devil winds that could be coming. It is not a good timefor going on the warpath.

Planet X, Comets & Earth

Changes

In the mid-1990s, the importance of the research andtheory of astrophysicist-cosmologist James M. McCanney wasrecognized by Russian scientists who had measured but did

not understand electro-dynamic effects around Earth and inthe solar system. McCanneys papers were translated intoRussian and today are being taught at the university level as theleading edge of research in the field.

In his own country, however, McCanneys work islargely unrecognized. Why? Without laboring the issue, let me

say simply that McCanney is the proponent of a new paradigmin astrophysics, one that makes the old paradigm lookdownright Middle Ages. Thus Mr. McCanney has foundhimself apersona non gratain his field.

Add to this the fact that relevant governmental agencies(NASA, for instance) are staffed by old paradigmers andguided by a mandate to disclose only non-alarming

information to the panic-prone public, and you will readilyunderstand why the name of McCanney is not a household

word, even though it should be.

Mr. McCanneys paradigm is alarming. No doubt aboutit. In my view, alarms serve a very useful purpose. They savelives. If you have an aversion to alarms, then perhaps you

shouldnt read the following brief overview of main points ofMcCanneys alarming theories.

The Solar System

Old paradigm astrophysicists maintain that our solar

system was formed about 4.5 billion years ago, and no newplanets or moons have appeared since. (This concept of thefixity of the solar system is a contemporary equivalent of thefixity of species doctrine of the old-time creationists.)

In reality, McCanney writes, new members areconstantly being added and may arrive at any time. Most ofthese new arrivals will be small but occasionally some may belarge. Some may even be in extended orbits moving far outfrom the inner solar system area and returning every fewthousand years. It is this class of object[s] that we see in thelarge comet Hale-Bopp or the object described by theancient Egyptians [and called] Nibiru, which they claimedarrived every 3600 years to ravage the inner solar system.(12)

Contrary to conventional opinion, McCanney states,only Jupiter and the Sun were in the original solar system andall the other planets and moons were captured and adaptedinto the solar system one by one at a later time. Each newobject formed under unique conditions and [was] a comet[originally] until [it] settled into the final resting orbit. As

new members arrive they will encounter the currently existingplanets and moons in a dynamic game of celestial billiards.(51)

Old paradigmers: Venus is an original planet of thesolar system. The extremely high temperature of Venus andextremely dense atmosphere (900 times as dense as that ofEarth) are due to the Greenhouse Effect. (52)

McCanney: Venus is a new planet and is exactly whatyoud expect given its origin as a large violent comet. Sinceits orbit lies inside that of Earth, it had to have encountered

Earth on multiple occasions as it nestled into its current orbit.(53)

Old paradigmers: The Sun is electrically neutral and isnot affected by external conditions, such as the appearance of

a comet. Energetic effects are strictly the result of magneticeffects, i.e., solar domestic violence.

McCanney: The Sun has a net negative charge as itcontinually ejects large composite streamers of primarilyprotons in the solar wind. This builds up and sustains a solarcapacitor with the positive anode far beyond the orbit of

Pluto, where there is a large ionized cloud of dust and gases.This capacitor is discharged by the asteroids and larger cometnuclei that enter the solar system. This capacitor is whatpowers and controls the electrical nature of the solar system.Magnetic effects are secondary effects of the electrical plasmacurrents that flow as a result of this power source. (54)

Underline the following: The Sun produces thousands

of time more energy in the form of electrical energy as it doesin the form of light energy, but Earth is buffered from this byits large magnetic field. (54)

Comets

Earth is buffered by its large magnetic field. We onlynotice changes here when the local electric field and currentflows are altered either by solar flares or large comets passingnear by. (54)

Comets are no danger to Earth, according toconventional astrophysicists, who adhere to the theory

(originated by Fred Whipple) that comets are just large dirtysnowballs.

These snowballs melt (sublimate) when near the Sun,the Whipple-itesassure us, and the solar wind sweeps their tailsout away from the Sun. Comets are getting smaller and goaway eventually or leave a small asteroid in its orbit. NASA

states that only if one of these tiny [asteroidal] nuclei hitsEarth directly can it harm Earth. (52)

According to McCanneys Plasma Discharge CometModel, comets are asteroidal or larger rocky objects, whichignite a complex electrical discharge of the Solar Capacitor

when they enter the Suns electrical region . Comets aredrawing in the tail material and therefore are getting larger asthey move on their orbits in the solar system. (52)

Although most comets are small, some can be large oreven of planetary size, and if so, can cause extreme damage tothe existing planets and moons as they work their way intotheir eventual stable [solar] orbits. They do not have todirectly hit an existing planet to cause damage, in fact extreme

levels of danger can be caused by a myriad of effects by actionat a distance. (52)

What are some examples of extreme effects? The mostprobable effect of the passage of a very large comet thoughour solar system would be severe disruption of the Earthsmagnetic field/shield. The key to understanding is that theSuns capacitor stores unimaginable amounts of staticelectric charge and energy. When a comet or series of planets,moons and comets become involved, then the level of powerreleased from the capacitor increases and that power usually ispassed along the paths that include these planetary objects.(61)

In addition to the electro-magnetic plasma effects,

there are the physical or what we might call the Newtoniangravitational effects. These would involve the alterations oforbits due to gravity of one object working on another, or iftwo massive planetary sized objects interact at close range, the

tidal waves can be set up on the outer structures of theseplanetary mantles. These effects can range from small oceantides such as our Moon causes every day, to massive majorEarth altering effects such as mountain building, earthquakes

or creation and eruption of volcanoes. (61-62)

Close Encounters of the Comet Kind

A comet is a kind of cosmic vacuum cleaner,

McCanney says, and if a comet is larger than a living planet itpasses, it will suck up the planets atmosphere and surfacewater. Mars suffered this fate, McCanney suggests. Itsatmosphere and oceans were removed recently [about 3000years ago]. The ancients are said to have witnessed this anddescribed it as a giant snake-like extension coming out of thehuge comet that eventually became the planet Venus. (63)

If the passing comet is smaller than the planet it passes,the reverse occurs. The comet dumps the materials it isdragging onto the planet, resulting in what McCanney calls amajor pollution event. Earth has experienced multiplesuch events in the past 10,000 years, McCanney states.Some were more devastating than others. (63)

The fire and brimstone witnessed by Moses,McCanney suggests, was the result of meteor streams and theinflux of hydrocarbons from the huge comet tail that pollutedthe Earth and gave us the extensive oil fields that cover theEarth and line the bottom of the seas and oceans. No needto war over oil, McCanney says. It can be found the worldover in abundance. (63-64)

When Moses witnessed the burning cyclone of fireextending into the sky, this was literally the electrical discharge

from the passing comet with burning naphtha pouringin. (64)

Among other potential effects: There is only oneprocess that has all the factors sufficient to cause a shift or

rotation of the spin axis of Earths mantle, and that is agravitational wave set up by a passing large comet. (65)

The King of Terror

Those afraid of truth or offended by bad spelling(McCanney spells Moses Mosses) will not find theMcCanney book to their liking. Those interested inpersonal/planetary security will find it an invaluable reference.

If we Earthfolk are going to be blindsided by a comet,that is only because we have allowed the astrophysics-governmental complex to remain blind to the real, electro-dynamic nature of our solar system.

Why would we allow such a thing? One importantanswer was provided by Velikovsky in his 1982 bookMankindin Amnesia: The memory of past catastrophic consequences ofclose encounters with comets remains in mankinds collectiveunconscious, and this memory is so terrifying, we would do or

give anything to keep it from surfacing. If this is so, then wemight well suppose that a basic mission of mans religions,governments, and scientific establishments is to persuade usthe people that our precarious Earth stage is in fact very stable.Nothin to worry about, folks.

This deeply engrained memory, I would suggest, is thereal King of Terror (a phrase of Nostradamus). Until wedepose it, and get on with the business of seeing anddescribing the solar system as it actually is, and preparing for

the next close encounter with a comet, our existence, as aspecies, on Earth, will remain very tenuous.

Why the White Race WasInvented

In the very first days, all humans were the colors ofearth. The reason is simple. They were all made from earth.

Back in those days, all humans knew they were brothersand sisters, the children of Father Sky and Mother Earth. Likeall brothers and sisters, they squabbled from time to time, buttheir squabbling never turned into war. They never murderedeach other.

Things went along from year to year pretty much thesame. Everybody had plenty to eat. All had plenty of time todo what they liked to do. Everyone lived to be real old

because there was no stress. Stress is the great killer.All the people of the world have stories about those

times. In the beginning stories. "In the beginning, the GreatSpirit created Father Sky and Mother Earth." Those weregreat times. Holistic times. Everybody operated onknowingness, and one thing everybody knew was ... everythingthat exists is a part of Great Spirit's dream.

This was before the time of belief. "I believe this, Ibelieve that." After belief came into the world, then humanshad something to argue about. Then they found reasons to goto war.

Let's go back to the first times. In those first times,human beings just existed. Live and let live that was the

attitude. Enjoy life. Have a good time.After a long, long time maybe a million years, a

young chief by the name of Yo-Soy-Koda had a thought, a

thought that no-one else had ever had. The thought hit himlike a lightning bolt. It hit him so hard he had to sit down."Hey, what's the matter, Yo-Soy-Koda?" his friends asked.

Yo-Soy-Koda went into a trance. After a while, he

came out of the trance and stood up, looking very serious. Helooked at his friends, and then gave a little speech. "Just now,the Great Spirit had a thing to say to me. And I don't know

what to make of it."

"What did Great Spirit say?" his friends asked.

"Great Spirit said we're all having a wonderful time here

and that's great, but we humans aren't getting anywhere. We'rejust going in circles."

"What's wrong with going in circles?" his friends asked.

"Spirit says we're on a great journey, and the journeydoesn't end until we know everything there is to know."

"But don't we already know everything there is to

know?" the friends asked.

"I asked Spirit that same question," Yo-Soy-Koda said."Spirit said that if we knew everything there was to know, then

we would be the Great Spirit."

That stopped his friends. They didn't know what to sayto that. All they knew was that something big was going on.

But they didn't know what it was. "Well, what now, Yo-Soy-Koda? What are we supposed to do now?"

Yo-Soy-Koda didn't know the answer, and so he wentto the top of a great hill, to be close to the Great Spirit. Hecame down a few days later. His friends were waiting for him.

They were a little nervous. Well? they asked, What did theGreat Spirit say?

Yo-Soy-Koda didn't answer right away. He was great atcreating suspense. He merely looked around and scowled athis friends. After a good meal, though, he got to laughing.

Everyone thought he was crazy. When he stood to giveanother speech, everything went still. Even the insects in the

woods. Everyone wanted to hear what it was that the GreatSpirit had said to Yo-Soy-Koda.

"Brothers and sisters," Yo-Soy-Koda said, "my name isYo-Soy-Koda."

"We know who you are, Yo-Soy-Koda," his friends said."Get on with it."

"What the Great Spirit says," Yo-Soy-Koda said, "is thatin order for us to find our way we must lose our way."

"That doesn't make any sense," his friends said.

"Spirit says there is a broad path that runs along theriver, and all the humans are running back and forth on thispath. There's another path, Spirit says, a path that runs alongthe stars, and way out beyond the stars, into the Unknown."

Yo-Soy-Koda grew very silent. He looked as if he was

gazing into the Unknown. "Yo-Soy-Koda," the friends asked,"why would anyone want to go beyond the stars and into thisUnknown you're talking about?"

Yo-Soy-Koda looked this way and that, and then hesaid, very quietly, "Because that is where the Great Spirit wantsus to go."

"Why does Great Spirit want us to go there?"Yo-Soy-Koda paused for a minute. And then he

answered the question in this way: "Why does Great Spiritwant us to go there?" Everyone went to sleep very confusedthat night. Many people had strange dreams.

News traveled fast. In a couple of weeks, just about

half the people on Turtle Island arrived at the village of Yo-Soy-Koda. Everyone wanted to know what was going on.Yo-Soy-Koda called a council of the wisest persons he could

find, and the council met for many weeks. At long last, adecision was reached.

All eyes were on Yo-Soy-Koda as he jumped up on agreat rock and spoke to the people. "Listen, brothers and

sisters."

"We're listening."

"We've looked at the question this way and that. Ahundred ways. We talked and we talked ...."

"Tell us!" the people shouted. "What is the meaning ofthe words of the Great Spirit?"

"Well, it's like this," Yo-Soy-Koda replied, we needsome volunteers."

"Volunteers for what?!"

"We need some people who are willing to forgeteverything they know."

"But why?!""So they can learn new things," Yo-Soy-Koda said.

"Things that just wouldn't occur to usbecause we'reperfectly happy with what we know and how we know it. Theonly way we can learn about the path to the stars is if some ofus get themselves lost, and forget about the good old pathalong the river we all know and love."

It took a lot of talking, but after a week or so, Yo-Soy-Koda had a dozen men and women who were willing to forgetall they knew.

"Look, Yo-Soy-Koda," they said, "we'll do this thing foryou. We'll forget everything we know. But if we ever get inreal trouble because we don't know anything, then we expect

you'll help us out."Yo-Soy-Koda agreed to do this. And he kept his word.

He kept it when in later times he went with Hiawatha among

the peoples of the Eastern Gate and taught them the way ofpeace. But that's another story.

It wasn't so easy for the volunteers to forget everythingthey knew. After a time, Yo-Soy-Koda had to have another

talk with the Great Spirit. The Great Spirit gave him someadvice. This is what he told Yo-Soy-Koda: "To help the

volunteers forget they're the children of Mother Earth, I'mgoing to take away the earth color from their skins. I'll maketheir skin white like clouds, or maybe sort of pink. And I'llmake their eyes blue like the sky. And, of course, they'll haveto go awayfar from their people on Turtle Island."

There was a big party when it came time to say good-bye. Yo-Soy-Koda made a big speech. "The Great Spirit toldme our brother and sister volunteers are going to a new land.

This land will be called Europe. There, in Europe, they'llexperience a lot of change." Yo-Soy-Koda didn't tell themthat they'd turn white. "They'll be thinking up new things,

things that would never occur to us because we're verygrounded, we're very sane."

Everyone laughed. "A lot of things they think up," hesaid, will be really stupid. Stuff a Turtle Islander couldn't everimagine, not if he stood on his head for ten years. But amongthe thousands of new things our relatives in Europe come up

with, a few things will be really worthwhile. These few thingswill be the things that will teach us the path to the stars ... andthe path beyond the stars into the great Unknown."

The next morning, the volunteers left Turtle Island ingreat canoes. There were three of these canoes, each formedby lashing together seven ordinary canoes. That was Yo-Soy-Koda's idea.

Seven or eight volunteers decided at the last minute notto go, but Yo-Soy-Koda made them go anyway.

The volunteers left from a place that is now calledAsbury Park, New Jersey. "One day, their descendants will

return to Turtle Island," Yo-Soy-Koda said. "I wonder whatnew and interesting things they'll bring back from Europe."

The White Roots of Peace,

First United Nations

Hundreds of years ago, the Europeans called theAmericas the New World. They thought of the Americas asEden rediscovered. The natives, they believed, were their

long-lost cousins.

This idea was not so far from the truth. Throughouthuman history, aboriginal peoples everywhere were the part ofthe species that agreed to remember the ancient wisdom.

They were the people who stayed at home, while the otherpart of the species went exploring, looking for new things.

Today, these two parts are coming together. Bycoming together I mean that our species is blending, in

various ways, the wisdom of the aboriginal peoples with theemerging holistic sciences of the high-tech peoples. Thisintegration is the final phase of human evolution.

This blending has been going on for some time now.

Today, there are numerous people, of all races, working on thefinal phase of our species evolution. This work began withthe white roots of peacemovement started by Yo-Soy-Koda andHiawatha, many hundreds of years ago.

Near the shore of Lake Onondaga in what is nowupstate New York, Yo-Soy-Koda and Hiawatha broughttogether the nations of the Iroquois in the creation of the

Iroquois Confederacy.Before the great teachers came, these tribes were often

at war with each other. As a result, nobody was happy. A

tribe is like any animal, or plant. If it is intent on protectingitself all the time, then it doesnt grow. All its life force goesinto protection.

There is a new technology in agriculture which proves

this point. The farmers find out the frequency of what it istheyre growing, tomatoes for instance. Everything alive has aunique frequency. Then the farmers play this frequency to thefield of tomatoesthrough speakers. As a result, thetomatoes read the outside environment as friendly and theyput all their energy into growth.

Yo-Soy-Koda explained this simple fact of life to thepeople who had gathered at Onondaga. So impressed werethey by the wisdom of Yo-Soy-Koda and the power of theHuron chief Hiawatha, they did as the teachers told them.

They uprooted a very big tree, and then threw all theirweapons into the hole. Then they put the tree back and had abig party.

The ceremony is called the white roots of peacebecause theroots had seen daylight. The people, too. They had seen thelight.

Uprooting a great tree and then putting it back coveysthe idea that we humans can give our species a new basis, apeaceable philosophy.

On that day of new beginnings, all agreed that theirnations would be part of a greater nation, the IroquoisConfederacy. Also, they agreed to resolve whatever problemsthey had without recourse to war. They banned war amongthemselves.

The Iroquois Confederacy was the first United Nations.

After the American Revolution, the Americans set up agovernment of their own, under The Articles ofConfederation. It was like the Iroquois Confederacy. In1789, they set up a new system. Patrick Henry, one of their

great sages, did not agree with the new set-up. He was afraidthe greater concentration of power in the central government

would lead to tyranny. Maybe he was right.

Why the Whites Lie SoMuch

Now for the Indian, your word is your wand. It'simportant to speak only truth. It's expected of an Indian thathe speak only truth. As Eagle Man says, "To lie is the worstcrime." Indians have a lot of tolerance for anti-social

behavior, but they have no tolerance for lying.Indian society requires truth, and expects truth from its

members. Does white society? No. What the white societyseems to want is conformity. Just go along with what theauthorities say.

What is truth? For the Indian, truth is what you see and

experience. All spiritual truth is based on common experience.In white culture, truth means a different thing. It means whatthe Bible says. Experience is a big illusion. Truth is in theBible.

Not all the whites went along with this idea that thetruth is in the Bible, and that's the only truth there is. Back afew hundred years, many started to think that the Bible wasthe illusion and the truth was in nature. The people whothought truth was in nature called themselves scientists. Theearly scientists had the same idea as the Indians.

Also there were a lot of Bible-followers who began tosee things in a new way. This was after a lot of different biblesstarted popping up. Which was the real truth Bible?

Many people were confused, and some of these justthrew up their hands and said, "We don't know what's what inbibles, the only way to truth that makes sense to us is to follow

nature. One thing we can be sure about is that God creatednature. Nobody disputes that. Even the Bible says it ... 'Godcreated the heaven and the earth.' So if we study not the

words of the Maker but the works of the Maker, then maybe

we can find out more about the Maker.People who believed this way were called Deists. Some

Deists were Christian. Others had a lot of doubts aboutChristianity and decided to just be honest, like the Indians, andsay only what they see. So they said, "We see nature. Weagree there was something that made nature. Let's call thatsomething the Creator. Let's see if we can find out somethingabout the Creator by studying the creation."

There are a lot of Christians who believe that the UnitedStates was founded on the principles of Christianity. In fact,the big founders were Deists. Franklin, Jefferson,

Washington, Paine. When Jefferson wrote the Declaration ofIndependence, what he said was "according to the laws of

nature and nature's God." Notice those words. "Nature andnature's God." He wasn't talking about the Bible God.

The fact is that among the countries born from MotherEurope, the United States was the most divine. It was mostdivine because it was most allowing of differences in religiousbelief. If the Creator really believed all the Catholics wereright and all the Protestants wrong, do you think there wouldbe any Protestants around today? No. The Creator, thankGod, doesn't think like man.

Let's get back to the subject of whites lying. Now thewhites who are raised according to the Bible the first thingthey're asked to do is lie. They've got to say they believe inGod and Christ and angels and devils, when in fact they haven't

seen them. Now if you start out a kid by making him believelying is the truth, do you think that kid is going to grow up tobe a truth-sayer or a liar? As the sapling is bent, so grows thetree.

The Christians can be really amazing. They can believetwo opposite things at the same time. They can believe thatfollowing the example of Christ, the great peacemaker, is the

way to God. Turn the other cheek. Then at the same time,

they believe that going on the warpath is following the will ofGod.

In the Northwest I see many signs nailed on trees. Thesigns say "Christ Died For Your Sins." Unless I'm verymisinformed, the Bible says Christ didn't die. Well, what's thetruth? Did he die? Or didn't he die?

I asked a Christian friend about this. "Both," he said."Christ died and then he was resurrected."

In other words, Christs death was just a temporarydeath. Now what is death if it isnt permanent? Its not death.Its near death maybe, but not death. Maybe the message thatshould be nailed on the trees is, Christ Had a Near-DeathExperience for Your Sins.

Why the Bluebloods StoleScience

The Indians don't have a Satan, but they do have "BlueMan." Blue Man is a living dead person. Why "blue?" Whena person is healthy, the blood runs through his veins and helooks reddish. When he dies, he turns blue.

Now the old Europeans had a similar idea. They calledthe people who made their life hell the "bluebloods."

When the Founders created the United States ofAmerica, one of the first things they did was abolisharistocracythe blueblood class. Aristocracy was thrown outthe window.

In the eighteenth century, America was way out of theway, and that's why it had a real chance to start off with a newsystemindependent republicanism. When the people inFrance tried to do the same thing, they failed. They had toomany aristocrats.

Among the Indian peoples, there never was any

aristocracy. They have leaders, of course, but no aristocratsno bunch of people who think the tribe should kiss theirbehinds and give them whatever they want.

You've probably noticed the bluebloods in Westerncivilization have a lot of thingsproperty, possessions. To bea blueblood, you need to have a lot of things. The longer youhave these things, the bluer your blood.

We Indians never had an aristocracy, and the reasonwhy is simple ... we never had the belief that people could beowners of the land and natural resources.

The French Revolution taught the bluebloods they werelosing control. People no longer believed that God had madethe bluebloods rulers of the common people.

The bluebloods saw that the new science was very

dangerous. Science and Deism. These were similar ideas.Science was saying, "To find the truth, start with the facts."Deism was saying, "Nature is the real bible. If you want tofind God, start with nature."

After the revolution in France, a great scientist by thename of Lamarck invented biology and evolution. Nature is a

wise and wonderful teacher, Lamarck said, because the powerand word of God dwell within nature.

This really upset the bluebloods. For a long time, thebluebloods had bamboozled the people by convincing themthat the priests were the only authorized representatives ofGod. Now Lamarck and others were telling people that the

word of God is in nature, not in the mouths of the priests.

The bluebloods knew they had to do something aboutthe threat of science and Deism. They knew that if they wereto maintain their control, their positions and their castles, theyhad to control science ... theyhad to say what was the truth oflife and what was not.

When Darwinism came along in 1859, the bluebloods

loved it. This was the answer to their dreama science visionthat justified them in being the way they were. In the Darwin

vision, the bluebloods are on top because they deserve to beon top ... they are the big winners in the struggle for existence.

And what is nature in Darwinism? A dangerous place, ajungle red in tooth and claw. There is no God in existence,there is only combatwinning and losing.

The Deists saw the common people as more divinebecause they are closer to nature. The opposite is true, theDarwinists said. Because the common people are closer to

nature, theyre like beasts. In fact, they are beasts and need tobe caged.

The bluebloods were quick to convince the world"Darwinism is the Truth of existence!"

This was not a difficult thing to do, for the peoplebelieved the Royal Society was a true science society.

When the Royal Society said "Yes, Darwinism is theTruth we have been waiting for so long," the people wentalong- first just a few, and then the masses.

In fact, the Royal Society is what its name says it isanagent of the Crown, the biggest blueblood of all.

Practically overnight, the bluebloods switched fromsaying "The Bible is the one and only truth of existence and

what it says is obey your betters" to saying "Darwinism is theone and only truth of existence and what it says is that we areyour betters ... and you better obey us!"

It's only today that the common people in Westerncivilization are waking up and seeing what's what.

Of course most of them want to go right back to sleep!"What can I do about it? I'm only one individual," they say."You can't fight City Hall."

That attitude is just the old programming of the priests

and the pseudo-scientists, who are paid a lot of money toconvince the common people that they are a degenerate formof life, incapable of making wise decisions. Do what's goodfor you, and put your life in the hands of the experts ... us."

The first and most important step in getting back what'syours, control of your destiny, is not protesting in the streets ...Its simply opening your eyes and seeing through those eyes.

When the common people start looking at life throughtheir own eyes, rather than the eyes of the blueblood scientists,they will begin to see the world that Lamarck once saw, the

A Hole Through Forever

In an address to Japanese Buddhist monks on the 23rdof October, 1981, Thomas Banyancya said:

When the Hopi found out about the nuclear bombingof Nagasaki and Hiroshima they recalled the Hopi Prophecy

that spoke of a small but devastating gourd of ashes. It wassaid that this gourd, if allowed to fall to the ground wouldbring devastating destruction, burning everything around it.Many sicknesses would arise which our medicines would notbe able to cure. We were told never to go beyond this step,never to allow the manufacture of other such destructivethings. We now know that these foreseen destructive forces

were nuclear weapons. We were told that if we were tocontinue on this path even greater destruction would follow.

Wars can no longer be conducted as a way to reach peace.Peace can only be brought about through spiritual ways,through kindness, understanding, gentleness and love. Onlythrough these spiritual ways can we put aside the wrong actionof the past and repair the damage done to our Mother Earth

and the peoples of the Earth. It is time for all people to join,actively working to stop the development of war and the useof nuclear forces.

In the spring 2003 issue of an excellent magazine calledYes!A Journal of Positive Futures, there is an article whichshows just how right Thomas was. The article, called The

War Against Ourselves, is based on an interview with MajorDoug Rokke, who at the time of the Gulf War was assigned toprepare soldiers to respond to nuclear, biological and chemical

warfare.

At the completion of the Gulf War, Major Rokkesays, when we came back to the United States in the fall of1991, we had a total casualty count of 760: 294 dead, a littleover 400 wounded or ill. But the casualty rate now for Gulf

War veterans is approximately 30 percent. Of those stationedin the theater, including after the conflict, 221,000 have beenawarded disability, according to a Veterans Affairs reportissued September 10, 2002.

Many of the US casualties died as a direct result ofuranium munitions friendly fire. More than 100 Americansoldiers were exposed to DU [depleted uranium] in friendlyfire accidents, plus untold numbers of soldiers who climbed onand entered tanks that had been hit with DU, taking photosand gathering souvenirs to take home. They didnt knowabout the hazards.

DU is an extremely effective weapon. Each tankround is 10 pounds of solid uranium-238 contaminated with

plutonium, neptunium, americium. It is pyrophoric,generating intense heat on impact, penetrating a tank becauseof the heavy weight of its metal. When uranium munitions hit,its like a firestorm inside any vehicle or structure, and so wesaw tremendous burns, tremendous injuries. It wasdevastating.

Did the big brass make sure the soldiers knew about thehazards or uranium munitions? As director of the DepletedUranium Project, I developed a 40-hour block of training. Allthat curriculum has been shelved. They turned what I wroteinto a 20-minute program thats full of distortions.

In one of her songs, Buffy Sainte-Marie says thaturanium burns a hole into forever. Major Rokke agrees:

Its a crime against humanity to use uranium munitions in awar, and its devastating to ignore the consequences of war.These consequences last for eternity. The half life of uranium

238 is 4.5 billion years. And we left over 320 tons all over theplace in Iraq.

We have also left tons of radioactive waste at uraniummining sites in and near Indian lands. As a result, says

Thomas, there is much sickness and disease among the Indiansliving nearby, and more and more babies are being borndeformed.

Our prophecies tell of white people, Thomas has said.They were once our brothers who went away to the East.

They learned all about inventions there. They were supposed

to come back here with the inventions and help us to a betterlife. They would complete our spiritual circle. But, instead ofbringing the symbol of a circle, they brought the symbol of across. The circle brings people together, the cross sets themapart. The cross is a divider. And thats what they want to doto us Indian people. They want to hang uson a cross ofuranium!

War, Peace & the Namingof Earth

Over the past several decades, the idea of the RainbowTribe has caught the imagination of people of all races andcolors. The goal of those who support the Rainbow Tribe ideais the uniting of the peoples of the planet into one big tribe,

one family.This goal seems unrealistic to most Western whites,

who have been Darwinizedprogrammed into thinking thatlife is war. There are actually three Darwinismsclassical,social and neo-Darwinism, and they all define organisms, fromlittlest to biggest, as sex-and-violence machines.

If the Darwinists had to think up a new name for theplanet, the name they would come up with might be"Hodgepodge," which means everything this way and that.

There is a new concept of Earth going around whichsays that the planet is not Hodgepodge at all, but a very well-organized bio-system that resembles an individual.

James Lovelock, an English scientist, invented this idea(according to the whites), and he told all about it in a booktitled GaiaA New Look at Life on Earth.

And my friend Bruce Lipton has suggested a proof ofthe hypothesis. What he says is that the single cell, the humanbody, and the planet itself are bio-versions of each other, orfractals. Same basic bio-system, different levels of complexity.

Whats true for one bio-fractal is true for all the others.Finally, at long last, the whites are getting around to

looking at Earth in an Indian way. The Indians have always

known, and said, that Earth is a great individual. MotherEarth we call her.

The key to creating a peaceful world is not, asDarwinists claim, genetic engineering. It is helping peoplesunderstand the truththat the planet is in fact a greatindividual, a wonderful mother. We are all her children.

When this understanding is accepted, then people willnot be so ready to go to war. Its easy to kill enemies, butnot so easy to kill cousins.

Today, some people are calling Earth Gaia. Othersthink Terra Nova would be a great name. If I were asked toname the planet, I would prefer to call her by the old nameMother Earth.

But perhaps she has a name for herself. Maybe it's timewe asked her ... "What's your name?" I would not be

surprised to learn that Mother has a name for herself she muchprefers to Gaia. Perhaps it's Ptesan Win... White Buffalo CalfWoman.

Lovelock called this hypothetical single organismGaia. The concept of Mother Earth or, as the Greekscalled her long ago, Gaia, has been widely held throughouthistory and has been the basis of a belief which still co-exists

with the great religions. (Lovelock, x)

The birth of Lovelocks Gaia hypothesis was

applauded by certain Native American whites-watchers andkindred souls, but establishment biologists condemned it.Gaia was condemned as teleological [implying purpose] bymy peers and the journals, Nature and Science, would notpublish papers on the subject. (Lovelock, vii)

To the condemnation of his peers Lovelock added astopper of his own: Ancient belief and modern knowledge

have fused in the awe with which astronauts with their owneyes and we by indirect vision have seen the Earth revealed inall its shining beauty against the deep darkness of space. Yetthis feeling, however strong, does not prove that Mother Earthlives. Like a religious belief, it [the Gaia hypothesis] isuntestable and therefore incapable in its own context offurther rationalization. (Lovelock, ix)

Is Lovelock correct in his belief that the Gaia hypothesiscannot be proven? At the time he stated this belief, notheoretical basis for proving the hypothesis was readilyapparent. Since that time, several theoretical bases haveemerged, including the holographic theory of universe, andfractal geometry and mathematics.

The New Geometry

Our classic geometry is Euclidean. The Elements of

Euclid, published about 300 B.C., summarized in thirteenvolumes the mathematical knowledge of ancient Greece. Upuntil 1975, these books were regarded as the final, authoritative

word on the subject of geometry.

In 1975, the French mathematician Benoit Mandelbrotintroduced, in his book Les Objets Fractal, a new geometry,called fractal. Euclidean geometry is the geometry of wholeintegers; fractal geometry is the geometry offractionalspace.

The original stimulus behind Mandelbrots work was aninterest in irregular, seemingly chaotic patterns. Cotton pricesover a long period of time, frequency of earthquakes, floodingconditions all seemed to occur with a regular irregularity.

What was the principle of order within the chaos?

Mandelbrots studies of irregular patterns and hisexploration of infinitely complex shapes, writes James Gleick,had an intellectual intersection: a quality of self-similarity.

Above all, fractal meant self-similar. (Gleick, 10)

Fractals appear in sets. If you throw a pebble in a pond,you create a set of ripples, each ripple being a fractional

version (or fractal) of the other ripples. Each fractal-ripple issimilar to the others in shape, but different in magnitude.

Fractal mathematics is comprised of the simple formulasby which conversions are madefractal to fractal. Theseemingly infinite complexity of the famous Mandelbrot set isbased on the simple formula z [arrow pointing right] z2 + c.

Take a number, multiply it by itself, and add the original

Fractal mathematics made possible the art of computermodeling. It also made possible the new science called Chaostheory.

In Greek mythology, the goddess Gaia was born out of

Chaos. Could it be that the proof the Gaia hypothesis willemerge out of Chaos theory?

The Design of Nature

Mandelbrot followed Les Objets Fractal with The FractalGeometry of Nature (1982), a book demonstrating that thephysical world is modeled by means of fractal geometry andmathematics.

This modeling, fractal engineering, involves theendless repetition of structures in different scales ofmagnitude. For example consider a coastline, any coastline.

A photograph of a section of this coastline taken from a blimpwill show the very same ragged contour as a photograph of thewhole coastline taken from a satellite. Whats more, aphotograph of a one-footsection of the same coastline will showthe very same contours the other photographs show.

A decade after Mandelbrot published his physiological

speculations, Gleick writes, some theoretical biologistsbegan to find fractal organization controlling structures allthrough the body. The standard exponential description ofbronchial branching proved to be quite wrong; a fractaldescription turned out to fit the data. The urinary collectingsystem proved fractal. The biliary duct in the liver. Thenetwork of special fibers in the heart that carry pulses of

electric current to the contracting muscles. (Gleick, 109)By 1993, fractal mathematics was being called the

mathematics of life.

In a 1993 U.S. News & World Report article, sciencewriter William Allman concludes: The bodys overall structurebears the signature of the chaotic processes that shape it

right down to the DNA molecule that serves as its geneticblueprint. The fractal nature of DNA appears to play a rolein its ability to pass on biological information that controlsdevelopment of the various parts of the body. Because fractalsrepresent a midway point between randomness andpredictability, DNAs fractal structure may represent acompromise between encoding the maximum amount ofinformation, while still being extremely resilient to damage.(Allman, 84-85)

The Gaia Set

An early, ardent researcher in the application of fractalgeometry and mathematics to the study of biology was cellbiologist Bruce H. Lipton

Dr. Lipton recalls the moment in 1983 when he wasstruck by lightning (of the cognitive kind): I was sitting in mylaboratory looking at a cell through a microscope. I was

reiterating in my mind the common understanding that all thephysiological systems that are in the human body [nervoussystem, circulatory system, excretory system, etc.] can be foundin the single cell, when it really struck me the single cell is a

fractal of the human body.

Alternatively, Lipton added, the human body is afractal of the single cella version of the cell on a greater

order of magnitude.Might we go a step further, I asked, and infer that

planet Earth is a fractal of the single cell?

Yes, he replied. Fractal theory offers a proofof theGaia hypothesis. If the planet is a fractal of the single cell,then it must be a single living organism. Fractals differ onlyin

size and complexity. The planet is a very complex version ofthe single cell.

What to call the bio-fractalset that includes the single cell,the human being, and Earth itself? My suggestion is: theGaia set.

Joseph Brant

For many hundreds of years, the Six Nations stood atthe Eastern Gate.

The Six Nations is also called the "IroquoisConfederacy." It was started many hundreds of years ago by

two great chiefsHiawatha and Yo-Soy-Koda.Long before the Europeans came to Turtle Island,

Hiawatha and Yo-Soy-Koda were telling the red men to getready ... "Your brothers and sisters with white skin will bearriving any century now, and they're going to need a lot ofeducation. Better get your act together."

The Confederacy was the ally of the British, and if theBritish didn't have this ally, today New England wouldprobably be "New France."

The last war chief of the Six Nations was Joseph Brant.Joseph was much trusted by the British in the days before theRevolution. Joseph was smart. He pretended he wanted tostudy the Bible, and the British were happy to send him to

England to learn all about it. What he really wanted was tofind out was how to make gunpowder!

Joseph knew what was in the hearts of the whites, andhe believed the red peoples would be rubbed out if they didn'tfind a way to make their own gunpowder. He believed theonly way to stop the whitesthe termite peoplefrom eatingup all Turtle Island was to create a strong nation of red nationsin the place now called Ohio and Indiana.

It was not his destiny to fulfill this dream. In London,he studied the making of gunpowder as best he could. Hecame to the sad conclusion that the Indians didn't have all thestuff to make it.

The American Revolution split the Six Nations. Josephfought with the Red Coats. He was a great chief. If theBritish had asked Joseph to lead their war party, he would have

won the war for them! They didn't do this, however. Theywere too stupid, too blinded by all their medals.

The Oneida chief Running Moose loved Joseph, but

could not follow him. The old teachings were close to hisheart. He believed it was the mission of the Six Nations tohelp the termite people to become real human beings. Manythought he was a ridiculous old man. His head is in theclouds, they thought. "You can't teach the white mananything!as everyone knows."

There came a time, however, when the idea that the

whites could be educated didn't seem quite so ridiculous. Thewhites had a great sachem called Franklin. In the time of thewriting of the Constitution, Running Moose and otherConfederacy leaders were called upon to give their advice.Running Moose felt very happy, for this was the first proof hehad that the termites were willing to learn!

At the present time, Joseph wears a ghost-shirt [a whitebody] and lives a simple life not far from the old castles of theMohawk. There is great grief in his heart. The man who was

Joseph feels that he failed his people. He thinks that he alonecould have stopped the westward march of the whiteshadhe moved more quickly.

Listen, Joseph ... your dream was great, the dream of a

warrior, but it was not as great as the dream of Hiawatha andYo-Soy-Koda. Do not be in anguish any longer, brother. Thegreater dream is about to be realized.

Ben Franklin and "YourRope"

Running Moose first met the great Ben Franklin in1754. Even then, more than twenty years before the AmericanRevolution, Franklin was looking for new ways of runningthings. He and a lot of others were sick and tired of the

Europe way. "Your Rope" he called Europe. "Give a manenough Your Rope, he'll want to hang himself."

The Europe way of running things was calledmonarchy. Monarchy means one chief. The big chief has allthe power and what he says goes. Whether the king is smartor stupid doesn't matter. Whether the people like him or not

doesn't matter. Whether they trust him or not doesn't matter.Once a person becomes a king, he is king for life.

When Running Moose heard this from Ben, heunderstood right away what was wrong with the Your Ropesystem. It was against natureagainst the natural way ofdoing things.

Now it's interesting to look inside a biological cell.Inside you see what is called the genome. In the genome areall the plans for the organismthe DNA. Nearby are the

workers who take the plans and make new things. Theworkers are called proteins. It's easy to understand where theant people learned the wisdom to live the way they do. Theylearned it from the cell. The cell is a great teacher. The redtribes also learned from the cell.

Now, in the case of the ant people, the queen issomething like the DNA in the cell. She is the treasure of thepeoplethe future. She is not the ruler. The ruler of the

antsthe giver of orderis instinct. Every ant knows justwhat to do.

In the Your Rope system of government, however, themonarch is the ruler and what he says goes, even if what he

says is real stupid. This is very far from natural government.

The way of the Six Nations was very close to the naturalway, and that is why Ben Franklin was interested in it. Thegovernment of the Six Nations was a government of thepeople, by the people, for the people. This is the main thingBen learned from us. The great powerthe sovereigntyis

something that belongs to all the people and not just the bigchief or a few powerful people.

What Ben Franklin didn't learn was the importance ofwomen in our culture. The Iroquois never forgot theteachings of the cell. The most important thing in the life ofan organism, whether a cell or a nation, is the source of newlife. So it was that in the Iroquois system, the women had the

final say. Women decided who would be the political andreligious leaders.

Also, the women got rid of any leader who didnt servethe best interests of the people. If they didn't like what aleader was doing, they would give him three warnings tochange his ways. If he failed to respond, the leader was too

dumb to remain part of the tribe. He was stripped of powerand made an outcast.

What good is a man who refuses to listen to the voiceof his people? Such a man needs to live alone and to listen tothe voices of naturefor a long, long time.

A Chat With Will Rogers

The purpose of man, as I see it, is to convert experienceinto wisdom. I believe this because every once in a while, Ifind myself, in dream, being checked out by spirit elders. I callthem the Examiners.

There are always five examiners. Only one of themspeaks with me.

At my last examination, I had a new speaking elderspirit, one I recognized right away as the former Will Rogers.

Id grown up admiring Will, who was part Indian. TheIndian part showed in his way of treating people. He saw allpeople as relatives, called them cousin.

Will was generous, too, unlike ol John D. Rockefeller.When down-and-outers approached Rockefeller, he alwaysgave em one thin dime. From Will, they always got twobucks!and a friendly word. Will wasnt called anambassador of good will for nothing.

Will gave me a big smile and stood up to greet me at my

exam. Then we sat and he started in.

Well, cousin, he said, what have you found outabout white America?

I found there are two white Americas, I said. Firsttheres the traditionalist America, which follows the wisdom ofthe Founders live and let live, freedom for all, give the

world a helping hand. Then theres the New World Ordersuperpower America, which seems intent on ruling the world.

Will laughed and then he asked, Whats your view onthe Federal Reserve system?

The Fed? Rockefellers Revenge, I call it. In 1911,the Supreme Court ordered the break-up of RockefellersStandard Oil empire. Two years later, Rockefeller and his

fellow banksters got control of the countrys money systemthrough the Fed. Wilson, who signed the Federal Reserve billinto law, later said I have unwittingly ruined my country.

Wish hed of smartened up a little sooner.

Is the system a big money-maker? Will asked.

You bet it is! We, the debt slaves, now owe trillions ofdollars to the banks that own the Fed.

Will smiled. Seems only fair, he said. Whites stolethe land from the Indians, and now its being stolen fromthem. The elders smiled.

Will, I said, this is no smiling matter!

Son, he said, dont get your dander up. Let mefinish.

Well okay, I said.

Today, the stockholders of the Fed are private bankers.But in the future, as we see it, itll be the people of the nation

who own the Fed. The bankers will still run it maybe. Afterall, they were smart enough to invent it. But itll be owned bythe people in general, a kind of big and very profitable familybusiness. This business will pay not only for the costs ofgovernment, health and education and so forth, itll paydividends to the people from time to time.

Sounds great, but can it really happen?practically.Hard for me to see it happening.

It can happen in one of two ways, Will said. One, thewhole nation can collapse into chaos and citizens re-build itbetterwith a Fed owned by them. Or the people canswitch paradigms. Right now, as you know, the nationsrunning on the Darwin dog-eat-dog paradigm. What would ittake to get the nation running on a holistic dog-help-dogparadigm?
