Welcome the Gala ChairsLIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION

Welcome to the St. Andrew’s College 41st Annual Red & White Gala. This event represents the largest fundraiser for the Parents Guild. The proceeds from the evening will benefit our students through scholarships and the College through a significant contribution to the Not An Ordinary Place capital campaign.

The opportunity to stroll the Red Carpet this evening has been made possible by an enormous number of dedicated, talented and enthusiastic individuals. It has been a true privilege to work with the “SAC on the RED CARPET” committee. We would not have accomplished this without you!

To the many sponsors, corporations and Andrean friends who contributed to the live and silent auctions this evening, we greatly appreciate your generosity and support. A heartfelt thank-you also to the many staff and faculty members who have contributed, without whom this event would simply not happen.

St. Andrew’s College is committed to ensuring our sons reach their full potential. This School provides the path and the tools, and instills the confidence for them to become well-rounded men, Andreans, and Old Boys: we are forever grateful.

To our guests, we appreciate your continuous support, and we hope you have a fantastic evening. Your walk down the Red Carpet will allow our ‘Saints’ to reach for the stars!

Angela Wood-Macgregor Lenore Collis, Gala Chair Gala Vice Chair

Dear Guests,It is a pleasure for me to welcome you to “SAC on the Red Carpet” — the 41st Annual Red & White Gala Dinner Dance and Auction sponsored by the St. Andrew’s College Parents Guild. This much-anticipated event is one of the highlights of the School year and brings together SAC parents, faculty, staff, Old Boys and friends for a special evening of celebration.

Last year’s gala was a record-breaking success, with funds raised in support of scholarships, the Parents Guild Endowment Fund, and the Not An Ordinary Place (NAOP) capital campaign. Proceeds will continue

to combine toward helping us improve facilities at the School. Ground was broken last month on new and improved facilities in support of music, drama, engineering and robotics, business leadership, and food services. Next month, we break ground on a new athletic facility: the La Brier Family Arena. This phase of growth is unprecedented in the School’s history, and your ongoing support is helping to make it possible.

This organizing committee for this year’s gala has outdone itself once again. We are very grateful for the dedication of Gala Chair, Angela Wood-Macgregor, and Vice-Chair, Lenore Collis, who, along with their hard-working committee, spent months planning this special night. New this year are hand-held bidding devices, certain to make your auction experience easier and even more exciting. If this is your first Red & White, I am certain you will enjoy the camaraderie and the wonderful spirit of the Andrean community. Whether you are new to St. Andrew’s or a seasoned veteran, I think you will all agree, St. Andrew’s College is certainly ‘not an ordinary place.’

Enjoy the evening!
