• A multi-sectoral body of stakeholders was formed and a Comprehensive Shelter Plan was finalized and put into flesh;

• CLIPVIC areas were prioritized in the plan and other people living in the danger zones specifically informal settlers;

• About 35% of the population is expected to be beneficiaries of the plans and project;

•The project is supported by Vice President Jejomar C. Binay as HUDCC Chairman;

•The Task Force Pabahay is organized to oversee the implementation of the Comprehensive Shelter Plan.

•The Rural Health Center of the North is now being constructed located in Brgy Pag-asa in order to reach out to the people living in far barangays particularly those residing in CLIPVIC areas (Claudio Salgado, Ilvita, Pag-asa, and Victoria) and in San Agustin;

• Medical and Dental Missions were held in partnership with LGU of Quezon City and the Kalinga Party list.

•To combat Malaria that has been endemic in most parts of the country, the MHO of Sablayan started to distribute mosquito nets to residents living in barangays with identified cases of Malaria and to the Mangyans as well;

• The Anti-Smoking ordinance has finally approved and implemented in the whole municipality. A non-smoking sign is posted in all public offices;

• For fitness and health of boxing enthusiasts, a Boxing Gymnasium with fitness apparels was established in one of the nooks of Sablayan Astrodome. It was initiated by DrianFrancisco a home grown boxing champion with fund assistance coming from Pwersa Ng Bayaning Atleta ( PBA) Partylist;

• Botika ng Bayan was institutionalized. There were about 10,118 clients /beneficiaries including the Indigenous Peoples (IPs) who benefitted from it all coming from 22 barangays of this municipality;

• Our Health Program is focused on preventive care and health education of the constituencies. We continue our commitment to by way of holistic approach in development agenda of the administration.

• The establishment of Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Sablayan Campus was a benchmark in the history of progress of the municipality of Sablayan. PUP Sablayan Campus is an LGU-funded project.

• The Local Government Academic Scholarship Program provides access to higher education for poor but deserving students. It also catered access to alternative learning system. The IPs are also given scholarship grants.

• To date, the Local Government Unit of Sablayan operates Day Care Centers numbering to 75 and employing 86 day care workers in the different strategic location in the 22 barangays of the municipality. A total of 4,818 pre-school children are enrolled in the centers, ages 3-6 years old;

• The Literacy Program is aimed to address the increasing number of students attending basic education program of the government and extension classes were created specially in far-flung areas;

• The Unlad Kabataan Program is aimed at Out-of-school youths or OSY. Its components include skills training, sports development and livelihood projects and leadership trainings for them to become productive citizens.

• The Environmental Code was passed in line with our Environmental Management Program;

• The Balik Bayong Drive was made intensive through the implementation of Material Recovery Facility in each barangays;

• Adherence to 25 year Mining Moratorium Ordinance;

• Forest Conservation and Watershed Management is one of the activities undertaken by LGU Sablayan headed by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office and DENR-CENRO.

• Among the activities undertaken in year 2011 at the Municipal Eco-Waste Management Park are daily cleaning of the concrete hall , road sweeping, ostrich feeding, repair of nursery and ostrich pen , planting vegetables and other crops, seedling propagation, watering the plants, gathering of staking materials, re-gravelling/upgrading of roads, milling and shredding of biodegradable wastes, composting and charcoal briquetting .

• Under the Coastal Resource Management Program a Task Force is created. The Task Force MARLEN (Municipal Apo Reef Law Enforcement for Nature) has been effectively implementing its functions thus making the Apo Reef Natural Park as one of the biggest source of the municipality`s income contributing about P1,110, 200.00 from January to May, 2011. Nine (9) protected areas were established.

• The Solid Waste Management. “Balik-Bayong” Campaign was launched. each barangayis mandated to build its own Material Recovery Facility. A constant clean up drive in the town proper is conducted and participated by LGU employees, multi-sectors and schools. The LGU garbage truck follows the “no segregation, no collection policy”.

• The Public Employment Service Office which was just opened has been successful in establishing links with 26 different agencies and companies both local and abroad. Job fairs and One Stop Shop Services is periodically conducted, more than 1,500 applicants are accommodated.

• The first Mobile-E Passport Service is also conducted.

• Urban Agriculture was introduced by the FITS (Farmers Information and Technology Science) Center Sablayan.

• The Gulayan sa Paaralan Project of the Department of Education aims to sustain supplementary feeding and to raise level of consciousness on the health and nutritional dimension as well as economic benefits of planting vegetables.

• On Livestock Services, artificial insemination was done in 2010. Veterinary Health Mission is also conducted in different barangays.
