Introduction:

SABIT BITUMEN 40-50 is a Penetration Grade Asphalt Cement for use in the construction and maintenance of flexible pavements. SABIT BITUMEN 40-50 has high flash point and has high adhesion properties to aggregates, compatible with all types of aggregate.

Instruction For Application:

Used in hot asphalt mixes manufactured by central plants. General practices as outlined by Asphalt Institute Publication should be followed in mixing.

Depends on the mix design.

Health & Safety:

- Workers should wear protective masks, gloves, and goggles during application. The asphalt can be removed from equipment and tools with kerosene or gasoline

Precaution:

Care should be taken when heating SABIT BITUMEN 40-50 to avoid over heating.

Packing & Storage:

SABIT BITUMEN 40-50 can be supplied in bulk and drums. Store in suitable tanks supplied with heating systems, should never be stored at more than 150 oC.
