Bornean Orangutan Programme

In 2006, the Sabah State Governmentplaced the Ulu Segama–Malua ForestReserves under Sustainable ForestManagement Programme for theconservation & protection of theorang-utan habitat. Following thismove, the State Government put atotal ban on logging activities in thesetwo areas beginning end of 2007.
