SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS MEDIA GUIDE 2016 SEASON 261 GOLDMINE In April of 2017, Price, along with fellow 49ers team- mates, attended the Sev- enth Annual Prom at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco in Mission Bay, with over 200 teen patients and their friends. He enjoyed a “Masquerade Ball” with photo booths, music, dancing, dining and more. This special evening allowed patients to par- ticipate in a milestone that they may miss as a result of diagnosis or treatment. The children were decked out in prom fashions and left the event with a sweatshirt hoodie and a professional prom photo. In January of 2017, Price, along with 49ers teammates, teamed with the Harlem Globetrotters basketball team in an effort to raise awareness and prevent bullying in local schools. The basketball game, which took place at SAP Center in San Jose, included a spe- cial “football themed” play involving Price among others. PRICE’S GOLDEN NUGGETS In May of 2017, Price was reunited with the QB he protected for two seasons at Southern Mississippi (2014-15), when the 49ers signed QB Nick Mullens as an undrafted rookie free agent. Price began his collegiate career at Hinds (Raymond, MS) Community College before transferring to Southern Missis- sippi. At Hinds, he earned First-Team All-Region 23 and all- state honors in 2013.. PRICE’S TRANSACTIONS Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by SF on 5/6/16...Waived by SF on 9/3/16...Signed to SF practice squad on 9/4/16...Signed to Reserve/Future con- tract with SF on 1/3/17. In two years at Hinds, appeared in 19 games and earned both First-Team All-Region 23 and all-state honors in 2013. PERSONAL Attended Vicksburg (MS) HS, where he lettered as a senior.
