All disternpering/painting work will be verified by a cornbined committee of IWD engineers and

users of above mentioned work as per fbllowing 4 stages:

(i) After Scrapping stage.

(ii) After Water thinable priming coat stage.

(iii) After Distempering l*1 coat stage.

(iv) After Distempering 2nd coat stage.

The quotation forms complete in all aspects should be submitted in sealed envelope along withtender lee of Rs. 500/- in the fbrm of'demand draft drawn in favour of'the Registrar, IIT (BHU),payable at Varanasi.

The estimated cost of this work is Rs. 24,06,900.00. The earnest rnoney deposit of Rs. 48"2001-

shall be submitted in the form of FDR or DD in f'avour of the Registrar, IIT (BHU), payable ar

Varanasi. The EMD of successful bidder will be retained till the completion of work and shall be

returned afterthe payment of final bill & deduction of security. TheEMD of unsuccessful bidders

shall be returned after the final award of work.

Institute Works Department5. In case one or more eligible bidders are found lowest that is the L-l prices are same then all L-l

bidders will be asked to resubmit their bids in sealed envelop with the objective to break the tiecases and determine a single L-l bidder.

6. The works will be executed on Agreement/work order basis.

7. Institute reserves the right to reject any quotation or all quotation without prejudice, assigning any

reason or giving any explanation.

8. If quotation are submitted without clearly writing the rates then quotation will not be considered.9. Quotation not signed by the contractor or his legally authorized agent will be considered invalid.10. Security deposit @ 5% shall be deducted from each bill. The security deposit of 5o/o deducted fiom

all the bills will be refunded after completion of the defect liability period i.e. 6 months from the

date of works completion. The date of issue of work completion certificate will be treated as the

work completion date.

1I. 1% water tax will be deducted from each bill, wherever applicable.

12. Electricity charge will deducted as per actual consumption.

13. 5% Trade tax and 2%olncome Tax will be deducted from each bill.14. Amount and quantity variation: Quantity may vary as per actual work execution/site

requirement/end user suggested changes during execution but the final bill value shall not exceed

more than 5% of order value.

15. Work completion period: Within 120 days from the issue of work order/date of agreement. Workcompletion certificate shall be issued by the IWD after obtaining a satisfactoly work done reportfrom the user. A period of l0 days will be added to the work completion period for completion ofabove procedure.

16. Late work cornpletion penaltv: lf work in not completed within the given time, penalty will be

deducted as per institute norms.

17. Any damage caused to the building shall have to be made good by contractor at no extra cost &without any delay.

18. Duly completed tender document alongwith Quotation form, tender fee & E.M.D. should be sealed

in one Envelop which should be superscribed with Name of work, Tender Ref'erence No. & date

submitted on or before the last date & time as mentioned at S. No. I above.

l9 The bids submitted after the last date & time will not be considered fbr opening. The bids receivedwithin the last date & time will be opened on 06.06.2017 at 4.00 P.M in the Committee room(Ground Floor) of the Administrative Building, llT (BHU), Varanasi.
