Summary

European Parliament

Romania's first mandate to the EU Council Presidency will start in January

2019 for 6 months. During this term of presidency will be held the elections

for the European Parliament.

Organization: European Parliament has 751 elected members from 28

Member States of the European Union and conducts its plenary debates in

24 languages.

Industry: Government - co-legislator, sharing with the EU Council the power

to adopt and amend legislative proposals and to decide on the EU budget.
