Walter’s Word – Association

This month’s word of “Word-Association” is “BSM.” Baptist Student Ministry, we are excited to announce that Jeremy Pritchard will be our new BSM Student Director! Jeremy is from Inez, a UHV graduate, was involved in BSM while in school, is the part time Student Minister at FBC Lolita and is working on his MDiv from Southwestern. He is also a newlywed, he and wife Sarah were married in February, Sarah works at Mid Coast Family Services. This is a wonderful young ministry couple and we are thrilled to have Jeremy joining us. He will continue to serve at FBC Lolita as Student Minister, and will be able to serve the BSM on Monday’s, Tuesday’s and some Thursday’s. So the opportunity to have him here and on campus will open up some great ministry possibilities. Thanks to two of our churches that have given directly to the BSM, above what they give to the GBA, we have some financing to support Jeremy. However, we know that won’t last forever, so, in addition to your giving to the GBA would you consider some additional support to the BSM? Or possibly increasing what you already give? And this just isn’t for churches, individuals are certainly welcome to give. Of course I do not want you giving to the GBA what you need to give to support your local church, but in addition to that, an offering to the GBA/BSM would be a great blessing. Any additional help would be wonderful. We look forward to the new semester and how God will use and bless Jeremy in this new ministry, he
