Dear Coach,
Welcome to Siena College, home of the Siena Saints. We look forward to having the team coaching staff, and student athletes on campus. In order to assist you in planning your travel itinerary, we have included the Visiting Team Guide and the Visiting Team Arrival Form. Please share these resources with the rest of your coaching staff and return the Visiting Team Arrival Form to Brendan Krol, Athletic Facility Manager at least two weeks prior to the scheduled athletic contest.
The Visiting Team Guide can be used to find local amenities such as lodging, transportation, restaurants and directions to our various facilities. Also, included is contact information for our Office of Athletic Communications, Facilities and Event Operations, and Sport Medicine. If there is anything that we can do to make your visit to Siena College more comfortable, please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you and travel safely.

Visitor Parking
Buses and vans may drop their teams of at the South side of the Marcelle Athletic Complex which is indicated by the yellow box with “Drop Off” written next to it. Buses and vans may park in Lot U ONLY. Please make sure that buses do not block other vehicles. Siena College Public Safety reserves the right to have buses relocated.
Spectators may park in any parking spot with white lines. Spectators may not park in a handicap spot unless the vehicle is marked as that of a handicapped driver. At no time should a vehicle be parked in a fire lane. Vehicles parked in fire lanes or other NO PARKING ZONES will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.

From the North:From the Northway (I-87), take exit 5 (NY 155). Turn left on NY 155 to US 9. Turn right onto Route 9 for two miles. Siena College is on the left. Proceed to intersection with Spring Street and turn left. Follow Spring Street to Turchi Road and turn left. Athletic Facilities will be straight ahead. From the South:Travel north on the New York State Thruway (I-87) to Exit 23 (I-787). Follow I-787 North to I-90 West. Take Exit 6 (US 9 North to Loudonville, first exit off of I-90). Sports Medicine
The training room is located in the Marcelle Athletic Complex. Hours are Monday – Friday 9:00am – 6:30pm. Weekend hours will be scheduled according to practice and game and schedules. The sports medicine staff will be notified of any visiting team practices prior to your arrival. If your team is traveling without medical staff please call the Office of Sports Medicine prior to the day of competition. To insure proper care, if any student-athlete is in need of treatment, taping, or any other pre or post competition services from the sports medicine staff, please send a list of the student-athletes and their treatment/taping needs. We will do our best to assist your team. Taping/treatment tables, bagged ice and hydrocollators will be provided at each locker room.

Emergency Protocol
While visiting Siena College it is imperative to follow the emergency procedure outlined in this section.
When an emergency arises, the individual must call Siena Public Safety at (518) 783-2376 and let them know of the emergency situation and location. Indicate to Siena College Public Safety that 911 must be called. Siena Public Safety will dispatch EMS, fire, police, etc. and will guide them to the location of the emergency.

Locker Rooms
Visiting team locker room(s) will be available two hours prior to competition and a time script will be posted on the locker room door. An Event Operations Staff Member will be available to escort team members to the locker room upon arrival. A dry erase/poesy board, water and towels will be available upon request at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled contest by contacting the Facility and Operations office through email at [email protected].
Officials will use the Officials Locker Room, which will be available two hours prior to event time. An Event Operations Staff Member will escort the officials to the locker room. If there is a split crew of male/female officials, separate locker room will be assigned.
Water and towels will be provided in all locker rooms.

Day of Contest Protocol
The protocol will be posted in the visiting team locker room as well as on the scorer’s table and/or press box. Filming of games will be done from predetermined locations. Visiting teams are asked to adhere to this policy.

Ticket Information
Alumni Recreation CenterWill call for any Siena College Athletics event being played in the Alumni Recreation Center will be located in the ticket office in the main lobby of the ARC. All recipients must present proper identification at Will Call in order to receive ticket. Will Call will open one hour prior to game time.
Times Union CenterWill call for any Siena College Athletics event being played at the Times Union Center is located in the Times Union Center Box Office. The box office is located inside the arena off of South Pearl Street. Please call (518) 487-2202.
Hours of Operations- The Siena Fan Relations Office is located inside the Times Union Center is open Monday-Friday from 9:00am –
5:00pm.- Ticketed events include all games at the Times Union Center, all men’s and women’s basketball games, men’s
lacrosse games, as well as certain post season events being held on campus. Admission is free for all other sports during the regular season.
Ticket Sales- Men’s and Women’s basketball season tickets, mini packs, Premium Seating Program (PSP), and group tickets may
be purchased by calling the Siena Fan Relations Office at (518) 487-2202. Advance game sales and any single game tickets should be purchased through the Times Union Center Box Office.
- Individual men’s and women’s tickets may be purchased in person on the day of the game at the Time Union Center Box Office.
- Visiting team complimentary tickets are located behind the team bench and the number of tickets is determined by the contract or by the MAAC office. Additional visiting team tickets are handled by the Siena Fan Relations Office. For additional tickets please call the Siena Fan Relations Office at (518) 487-2202. Per NCAA rules visiting team complimentary tickets can only be ordered through team complimentary list in advance of game. Tickets will need to be signed for and proper identification must be provided.
- Individuals who have lost, stolen, or destroyed tickets must contact the Siena Fan Relations Office and provide a written explanation of how the ticket(s) were damaged or lost. If a situation arises at the Times Union Center, the patron should go to the arena box office and ask to speak with a Siena Fan Relations Office representative.
- Ticket pricing is set by the Siena College Athletic Department. Please contact or visit the Siena College Fan Relations office website for more information on ticket sales and prices.
- All tickets are non-refundable. In the case of extenuating circumstances, a written request may be submitted to the Box Office manager.

Siena College Athletics Communications PoliciesSiena College’s general policy addressing relations with the mass media (newspapers, magazines, television, radio) is one in which personnel deal openly, honestly, quickly and accurately with media personnel to provide the media with all information about the College. The Athletic Department adheres to a strong policy that protects the individual’s rights of privacy. All press releases from the Siena College Department of Athletics are issued from the Office of Athletics Communications which sends the release to appropriate media. All requests for interviews should be directed through the Office of Athletics Communications with at least 24 hours’ notice. Interviews will be scheduled at a mutual time for both the student-athlete or coach and the media member. All classes and team responsibilities will take precedent over interviews. It is the policy of the Office of Athletics Communications to issue credentials to members of the media for men’s and women’s basketball games. The men’s basketball team room is open to the media once the head coach has concluded his press conference. The Department of Athletics and the Office of Athletic Communications reserve the right to close the team room at any time. The Office of Athletic Communications reserves the right to revoke credentials for home events at any time. Student athletes will not be expected to grant interviews on the day of a game, until the contest is completed, barring any special circumstances.

Tailgating
Please refer to the Siena College Tailgating Policy, which can be found at www.siena.edu. The policy was approved by the college cabinet and adopted in preparation for the 2017-18 competition seasons. The policy outlines the following:
Definition (Siena College): Organized activity by a group of people that occurs prior to an athletic contest, or on occasion after the conclusion of the game, and includes food and nonalcoholic beverages. The activity is typically organized by parents of athletic team members.
Identified Locations: Artificial Turf Field / Rugby Field For soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, softball, and identified club sports, a designated area for team pre and post-
game tailgating located at the South End of the Siena Turf Field complex. Designated visiting team and home team tailgate areas will be identified with signage and a tent (in the event of inclement weather). The Southwest corner of the artificial turf field plaza may be used for postgame gatherings only.
Identified Locations: Baseball Field For baseball, the designated visiting team tailgate area is located behind the visiting team dugout (3 rd base
dugout), and the designated home team tailgate area is located behind the home team dugout.
Enforcement: The Office of Public Safety will be present 90 minutes prior to scheduled athletic contests, as well as 30 minutes
after the conclusion of the contest in order to assist spectators and ensure policy compliance. If an officer identifies a non-Siena student* as drinking an alcoholic beverage on campus ;
o 1st offense – officer will ask the individual to dispose of the drink.o 2nd offense – officer will ask the individual to dispose of the drink, ask for identification, and contact the
Office of Public Safety Lieutenant in Charge to speak with violator as a “final warning.”o 3rd offense – the officer will contact the Lieutenant in Charge and a report may be initiated. (If a report is
initiated then the College may contact the noncompliant individual via letter or phone.)
Note: The College reserves the right to search individual’s bag(s) upon entering an athletic event.
*Students identified in possession of alcohol will be addressed through the Student Code of Conduct.
Tables, garbage cans, and electrical cords will be provided at all post-game tailgate locations upon request. Power is available, but access must be requested through the Facility Manager via email: [email protected], or office phone: (518) 782-6461. Please note that charcoal grills are prohibited, but propane tanks no larger than 20lbs are permitted.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate indoor facility requests in the event of inclement weather.
If there are additional questions concerning post-game tailgating at Siena College, please contact the Facility Manager via the contact information outlined above.

Any individuals who are found to be in non-compliance of venue rules are subject for removal. Additionally, please help us maintain our beautiful campus and place all trash in garbage cans.
