PACEline piezo technology

It all comes down to the crystal. Here too, PACEline makes no compromises when it comes to quality:HBM uses quartz for PACEline and - unique worldwide - gallium phosphate (GaPO4) with the sensors offering nominal (rated) forces of 5 kN and 20 kN. Both crystals have impressive long-term stability and optimum measuring properties. In addition, gallium phosphate guarantees extraordinary temperature stability, high output signals and, as a consequence, absolutely reliable measurement, even of small forces.

Proven - CFT force transducers

CFT force transducers are available with measuring ranges from 5 to 120 kN enabling reliable, integrated force measurement, in particular in highly restricted spaces. As part of the PACEline force measurement chain, they can be used where uncalibrated force washers only could be used so far.

• Internally pre-stressed flanges make assembly easy

• Calibrated at 20 % and 100 % of the nominal (rated) force

• Output signal independent of nominal (rated) force enables measurement over several decades

• Compatible with market standards

• Extremely high stiffness provides for high cut-off frequency in dynamic applications

• Sturdy through use of stainless steel.

Innovative - CFW force washers

CFW piezoelectric force washers assure reliable results in assembly and testing. They can be installed in both the force flow and the force shunt. Although the CFW is very compact, it provides a plug protection - unique with piezoelectric force washers. The CFW is currently available with nominal (rated) forces of 50 kN and 140 kN.

Flexible - CMA analog charge amplifiers

The PACEline CMA analog charge amplifier ensures reliable signal conditioning of measured values captured using piezoelectric sensors. This is done by signal conditioning to ± 10 V analog standard signals. In addition it brings the many benefits of TEDS technology to the world of piezoelectric force measurement for the first time.

• Five device types with measuring ranges from 39,000 pC to 480,000 pC

• 10 kHz signal bandwidth

• Two calibrated measuring ranges of 20 % and 100 % of full scale per device

Universal - The CMD600 digital charge amplifier

The CMD600 digital charge amplifier assures multiple uses in many applications in the laboratory and production. It measures very fast force, torque and pressure signals at frequencies of up to 30 kHz and can be used with piezoelectric sensors up to max. 600,000 pC (Pico coulombs).

• 30 kHz signal bandwidth with peak-value memory
