The origin of a multi-actor project
• Decision taken by the Senate of the University of Milano to transfer the Faculty of Veterinarian Sciences to Lodi (1999)
• Support from farmers and breeders, and business organisations • Feasibility study • Creation of the Foundation PTP (City, Province, CCIAA) and of
PTP srl (agreement 2000 – inauguration 2005) • Development of the technological park and incubator (2006) • Support of the Lombardy Region for developing a cluster on
this basis • Project of Bio-food park with the city
• The City of Lodi catches the opportunity for setting up a project of a technological park with the support of the Province and of the Chamber of Commerce

Parco Tecnologico Padano (PTP) is the engine of the Lodi Cluster a commercially-oriented research network in ag-biotech that: deals with regional needs performs highly effective research to support regional development fosters start-ups and spin-offs by offering know-how, Incubator facilities
