E6 Features-Introduction

• Feature Description

 – InSite type of BTS support is removed from BSC release S14 customerdocumentation. InSite type of BTS related codes are leaved intact. BSCI&V test phase drops Insite type of BTS out from list of networkelements which are tested in S14 I&V test phase. On customer point ofview Insite type of BTS BSC support is ended to S14 release. However

it must be noticed that Insite type of BTS still can be created in S14release.

 – Background Loading of Radio Network Plan feature (BSS6124) isremoved from BSC release S14. Part of the background Data featurewas already hidden in S13 but now the implementation is removed. FileBased RNW plan provisioning (BSS20012), which was introduced in

BSC release S12, substitutes Background Loading of Radio NetworkPlan feature.

•Removed parameters shall be tested in MT phase.

•FT test phase verifies that remove of Background data featuredoes not affect to BSC operability functionality. The verificationscan be done using existing regression test cases. No new testcases needed.
