Our Independence Day Celebration

S.V. Polytechnic Bhopal celebrated the 73rd independence day with

unparalleled patriotic fervor on 15 August this year . The gamut of

celebration activities held on the campus comprised of special morning

assembly , poetry recitation and impressive parade. The entire college

assembled at the ground & the Principal hoisted the tricolor. The national

anthem echoed in the campus. The group song “ Mere Vatan ke logo” filled

everyone with “pure patriotism.”.The event ended with a motivational

message by the Principal Dr. Ashish Dongre reminding the students and the

teachers of the sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters and made us

pledge that we would serve our motherland bringing it to glory and laurels

with our dignified deeds.

Industry Institute Interaction

An Industry Institute Interaction was organised on 30th

August 2019 at Hotel Plash to discuss AICTE

Internship Policy. Principal, HoDs & other faculty

members of the institute and representatives from

various industries discussed Model Internship

Guidelines of AICTE .Principal, Dr. Ashish Dongre,

emphasised the importance of Internship in technical

education. Industry representatives, Mr. Manish Rajoria

(Aadarsh Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Gurvinder P.S. Gulati

(Capital Powers), Mr. Ranit Singh (SMS Incorporated),

Lokesh Sakergayen (Mathura Industries) and

Mr. B. K. Bhatia (B.K. Enterprises) expressed their

concern regarding skill crunch in the industry. They

assured to extend full cooperation in implementing

Internship Policy.

An Interaction with President ISTE

New Delhi

Dr. Pratap K. Desai, President ISTE New Delhi

interacted with the faculty members of the institute

on 16/02/19. Dr. Ashish Dongre Principal and

Chairman of ISTE MP Section welcomed him .

Dr. Desai highlighted various challenges and

opportunities in technical education in the present

scenario. Faculty members expressed their views on

the various issues in technical education.

MoUs with other Institutes and Industries

To work jointly with industries and provide hands on practice to students our Principal Dr. Ashish Dongre

encourages all department to signs memorandum of understanding (MoU) with leading industries and

institutes for various interactions such as guest lectures, Seminars , in plant training ,industrial visits to provide

opportunities to the students to explore the actual technical knowledge in the field of engineering and

technology. Department of mechanical engineering signed memorandum of understanding with CIPET

Bhopal and CRISP Bhopal . Also Civil Engineering department signed a MoU with Rajpati Construction &

Consultancy Services , Bhopal on 17/08/2019 . On behalf of S. V. Polytechnic college Dr. Ashish Dongre and

on the behalf of Rajpati construction Mr. Jayant Mishra signed a copy of MoU in the presence of HOD Civil

Engineering Shri P. K. Khandelwal and other staff members.

Health Camp by Pharmacy Department

Promoting awareness of general health among the

people ,provide general health are services and

counseling them on basic health care and hygiene.

Pharmacy department of our college organised

programme on 31st July 2019 under the guidance of

Shri S.K. Manwani . Many health related activities

along with fun games made programme very enjoy-

able for the participants. General health check-up of

participants was done by a team of doctors and their

staff . The health camp was a huge success with

immense response from the local people.

INSTITUTE DYNAMICS…..

Go green….

Trees are valuable gifts of nature .We always support to proceed in the direction of green campus & many

plantation programmes are organised by us time to time. Our college always encouraged students to plant

more trees and take care of their plantation thereafter. The color green-is a calming , cool color that helps you

quickly recover from strain . By planting trees we can secure our environment to pollution. Our Principal

Dr. Ashish Dongre and other members of our college did Plantation on Dr. Ambedkar Park on 29th July.

Civil Department Alumni Meet

The alumni meet for the year 2015passed out students of

civil engineering department were held in the college on

17 may 2019. The meet was attended by 16 alumni in

principals chamber .in the events the alumni students

were invited to visit the college campus to know the

present atmosphere and guide the students for placement

. Principal sir outlined that , alumni are the brand

ambassador of the institution and a very vibrant relation

ship must be established and nurtured with them.

Voter’s Awareness Program

This Festive Season of Democracy, the college

decided to start Voter Awareness program to

motivate first-time voters and increase voting

turnouts in assembly and parliamentary elections

.The event on 8/10/18 was lead by Shri Awdhesh

Singh who appointed twelve meritorious student as

Campus Ambassadors to create awareness on

voting among the fellow students and their parents.

S.V. Polytechnic college witnessed the glitz and glamour of Annual Day celebration "Josh-2k19" on 25 & 26

February 2019 with enthusiasm and zeal. The triumph was made possible by the relentless efforts of our

Principal Dr. Ashish Dongre. The function was attended by the honourable minister of Law and Legal Affairs

& Public Relations Department , Madhya Pradesh , Shri P. C. Sharma as the chief guest while the honourable

Vice Chancellor of RGPV University Bhopal Dr. Sunil Kumar was present as the special guest. Distinguished

guests, elite guardians, and the students of the college also attended the Inaugural function. The event started

off with Saraswati Vandana followed by music, Poem recitation, dance, extempore, speech, pantomime, and

chorus. The event closed with the Prize distribution ceremony to felicitate and recognize the talent of students

in various fields like academics, art, culture, sports etc .The entire college participated wholeheartedly towards

the success of this grand event.

Project Exhibition

An institute level project exhibition

was organized on 24th June 19.The

200 students of all the departments

participated in this exhibition. The

best projects were awarded prizes

and certificates branch wise by our

honourable Judge Dr. Ajit Soni.

The main objective of exhibition

was to provide the preliminary

knowledge of the projects and

provide an opportunity for the

students to demonstrate their

learning experience .

Placements Drive …..

The training and Placement Cell (TPC) of the college is an active hub for student development and

engagement. A dynamic placement team headed by Mr. Ashish Tiwari works with best organizations &

provides opportunities for students in good companies. It primarily works as a liaison between industry and

institute. Also it looks after the industry academia interface so that the student can be groomed in to industry-

ready technocrats. This year total 100 students selected through campus selection in different reputed

companies , Besides this many students joined degree programs in different reputed engineering colleges.
