KNITTING FOR A DIFFERENCE
Knitting for a Difference was founded in 2007 and we have had
knitters and crocheters working over the last 12 years and many
others who have donated yarns. Thanks to all of you! We have
just gone over 15,000 (15,113) hats that have been distributed to
cancer patients, the needy, veterans, and children’s hospitals.

The Women’s Guild Rummage Sale is Saturday, August 17th
from 9:00am to 3:00pm. If you have items to donate, please drop
off on Thursday, August 15th from 1:00 to 7:00pm and on Friday,
August 16th from 1:00 to 7:00pm. Furniture or very heavy items
will not be accepted. If you have any questions please call Janice

Civil War Days and Americana
Saturday July, 27th from 11:00am to 4:00pm. The event is held
at the Paddock House Yard at 317 Hanover St., Concord.
Formal program of arts at 1:00pm. Todd Holton will M.C. and
includes great music and guest speaker Don Winchell. Austin
Blair Chapter, Sons of the Civil War, will have an encampment
on the grounds.
Many period exhibits and displays, along with outdoor cooking
and wagon rides will be available for all to enjoy.
The event is sponsored by the Hubbard Memorial Museum Foun-
dation and admission is free for all activities. For more informa-

Jackson Right to Life Fair Booth
The Fair is coming to Jackson August 4th - 10th and Jackson
Right to Life will be there!
Will you come and help us share the Pro-Life message? We need
84 smiling faces to volunteer at our beautiful, educational fair
booth for 2 hour shifts.
Working with an experienced partner you will have the opportu-
nity to greet fair patrons, introduce them to the concept of LIFE,
show children their earliest beginnings through the fetal model
display and help them play an educational game for a prize.
This is one of our most important community outreach events and
we need lots of help. Will YOU be there? You can sign up
