Start – GrangeCentre Car Park.Exit along South
Pond then cross SouthSt onto TheWharf.After 250m cross overthe stone bridge andleft onto New LipchisWay bridleway (can bemuddy). Join and followtarmac lane.
Fork left(SP Pitshill),descend for800m and turn
right opposite thevineyard. Enjoy thestunning views overthe Rother Valleyfrom River Lane.
Turn right, thenleft throughHurlands Farmyard and followthe bridleway for1.5km. AfterFitzlea Farm turnright into thewood for 800m.
4Turn right at T junction andcross a brick bridge, thenfork left following theSerpent Trail bridleway for2km to the lane (can bevery muddy).
3 Follow single-track intothe wood and bare rightafter 50m. Turn left on thelane and after 800m turnright onto a bridleway.

recognised as the Homeof British Polo wherepolo has been played forover 100 years. Todayapproximately 450matches are played eachseason across the twogrounds. The Ambershamgrounds were theoperational airfield RNASinWWII.

Turn left onto narrow bridleway(can be very muddy). Care onsteep descent, turn right,straight on at next junction andthen turn left over a brickbridge and cross the field.

Turn left ontoa bridleway150m aftercrossing the
River Rother (can bevery muddy).
Fork left at HollistArms, after 200m
turn right onto SchoolLane, keep left after150m and fork left ontoa woodland track.
After the wood, fork right and follow the bridlewayalong the ridge for 500m, turn left and right and followthe ridge line into a wood (can be very muddy).Descend to Easebourne Lane.
Enjoy the 3km descent. At T junction,turn left and right onto Cowdray Park,passing Easebourne Priory. After thecricket ground, turn right and join theA272 to return into Midhurst.
