Second Sunday of Easter, Divine Mercy Sunday
In reading from the Acts of the Apostles we hear about
the early Christian community which,” was of one mind
and heart”, they “held everything in common;” and “there
was no needy person among them.” Does that describe
our parishes or are we like the disciples hiding in fear in
the upper room? Jesus speaks to us as he did to them,
sending them out to bring peace, healing, justice mercy
and love to a world in need of these virtues and in need of
a community able to live them. What can we do to live
more truly as that community of sharing and love?
Segundo Domingo de Pascua, Domingo de la Divina
Misericordia

Fullness of Truth invites
you to their “Why Be
Catholic: When You
Could Be Anything
Else?” conference, at St.
Margaret Mary Catho-
lic Church in Cedar
Park/Austin, Texas,
April 20th & 21st,
2018. Renown speakers
include: DR. MICHAEL BARBER (Theology Professor/
Augustine Institute & author); STEVE WOOD (Former Protestant
Pastor/Catholic Convert, author, & Founder of St. Joseph’s Cove-
nant Keepers); and, JIM BURNHAM (Founder St. Juan Catholic
Seminars & veteran Catholic apologist). This conference will ad-
dress the scriptural, logical, and historical reasons for being Catho-
lic: that is, the crucial "Why's" behind all the "What's" that we be-
lieve. Drawing upon Scripture and Catholic tradition, our present-
ers will clearly “spell out” true Catholic teaching, and explain the
sound rationale behind frequently misunderstood doctrines and
practices, thereby providing practicing Catholics a much-needed
dose of confidence and clarity to affirm their faith against an in-
creasingly skeptical culture. To register & more details, visit:
FullnessOfTruth.org or call toll free: 877.218.7884 or
877.21.TRUTH.
