Always make sure that you have the latest revision of this document, since the contents may change without notice.
Preferred in-building antenna system products described in chapter 4 shall always be the first choice. Other in-building antenna system products described in chapter 5 shall only be used if there are no suitable options among the preferred products. Products described in chapter 6 are being phased out.

The feeder cables are UV-resistant, halogen free according to IEC 754-2 and fire retardant according to CATVR/ UL 1666 (riser cabel test) CATV/ UL 1581(vertical tray flame test), IEC 60332-3(vertical bunched cabel), IEEE 383 (vertical tray flame test) CATVX/ UL VW-1 (vertical wire flame test), IEC 60332-1(vertical single cable).
The feeder cables are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Minimum bending radius data refers to repeated bending (guaranteed minimum number of bends: 15).
Note: Recommended tools: Feeder preparation and installation tool sets can be found in Implementation Team Products Standard Module Overview, 131 22-COH 109 395.
If fire retardant properties are not required, lower cost standard feeder cables can be found in the Feeder System Standard Module Overview, 131 22-COH 109 393/3. Connectors will fit as long as the cable has the same size and code, e.g. 7/8 AVA5.
If CATVP (plenum), UL 910 cables are required, typical for ducts and plenums, please contact Strategic Product Manager for more information.

1/4" FSJ1 is UV-resistant, halogen free according to IEC 754-2 and have fire retardant jacketing according to: CATVR/ UL 1666 (riser cabel test) Therfore, cabels meeting this requirement can also be used in the folowing lower level categories: CATV/ UL 1581(vertical tray flame test), IEC 60332-3(vertical bunched wires or cabel), IEEE 383 (vertical tray flame test) CATVX/ UL VW-1 (vertical wire flame test), IEC 60332-1(vertical single wire or cable).
The jumpers are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

The radiating cables are halogen free according to IEC 754-2 and have fire retardant jacketing according to CATVR/ UL 1666 (riser cabel test) CATV/ UL 1581(vertical tray flame test), IEC 60332-3(vertical bunched cabel), IEEE 383 (vertical tray flame test) CATVX/ UL VW-1 (vertical wire flame test), IEC 60332-1(vertical single cable).
The radiating cables are only suitable for indoor use, i.e. not UV protected.
Radiating cables exhibit a fading characteristic that is a result of the multi path nature of the cable. Typically, a fade will occur approximately every wavelength. The depth of the fade is dependant not only on the cable design but also on the multi path environment. The depth of fading can be quantified by calculating the ratio between the median value of the coupling loss (50%) to the coupling loss that occurs less than 5% of the time. This produces the ratio of the 50 to 95% values. For the coupled mode RXL cables above that ratio is typically 11 dB. By adding that factor to the 50% coupling loss values stated in the table below, the approximate level that will be achieved at least 95% of the time at the terminated end of the cable at 2 m distance can be derived.
