S M -41 ST. JEROME'S ~ Dameron Private early 19th century
This small 1 1/2-story structure, built in the first
quarter of the 19th century, was originally a half-size
version of the hall, parlori and back rooms plan. An
addition was made in the 1830's to enlarge the house and
complete the plan. The present floor plan consists of
four first-floor rooms and a short rear stair hall. There
are two exterior chimneys on the early portion and one
on the later addition. The paved piazza dates to the
initial construction period and was extended along the
addition when it was built.
Also see archeological listing.
