Daily Offering

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings

of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins,

the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy

Father this month. Amen.

Communion Prayer

With spiritual communion, Jesus will give us the graces that we need this moment to be faithful to our mission of being witnesses of the Love of God before

all men. Let us pray…..

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.

Amen.

YOSH Rummage Sale

The Annual Youth Group Rummage Sale will be July 24-26. Donations from parishioners and friends can still be dropped off in the two large classrooms during office hours or by contacting Mike Wilson. Please refrain from bringing old TV’s and computers however, we are accepting clothing. All donations need to be at the church by Monday, July 20th. Please check the parish Facebook Page for additional information or contact a youth leader.

All youth participating in the confirmation class should be prepared to help with this event.

Locked in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Box

Do you need others to pray for you or for your situation, but don't want to share the details? Then write your petition on the small papers on the table next to the gifts at the back of the church and place the paper in Sacred Heart of Jesus box.

Every mass the second lector carries the box forward to the altar, so with all the angels, saints, and our parishioners we can pray and lift your prayer to heaven. You only need one paper as the Lord knows the fluidity of the situation.

Never stop praying! Never stop asking for prayers from others!!!

Prayer Chain

There are many Prayer Warriors signed up on the e-mail prayer chain. If anyone would like to be added please e-mail Sandra Oberley at [email protected].

Bishop Rice’s July prayer intentions

May we walk under the mantel of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, trusting that she will guide us to her Son.

We are sorry to announce……

Joplin Area Catholic Vacation Bible School 2020 has been cancelled.

Due to the concern for the safety and health of our children, volunteers, and families,

we have decided to cancel Vacation Bible School for the summer of 2020.

This was not an easy decision and is so disappointing however we look forward to

VBS 2021 next July.
