SUN 13 AUG

Wednesday 23rd August 2017Venue: Tipperary County Museum ClonmelTime: 7.30pmAdmission: FreeThe story of protest in medieval Ireland is a forgotten but fascinating one. This lecture will examine the reasons for protest in medieval times and the nature of protest. In this lecture, Finbar Dwyer (Irish History Podcast) will discuss protests from late medieval Ireland. While forthright and often violent these protests voiced the concerns of ordinary people so often excluded from written records.
